Red One is a Dwayne Johnson Santa Claus movie Amazon spent $250 million on. Citadel is a TV series about spies that Amazon somehow spent $300 million on for its first season.
I thought it was always intended as a mini-series TBH and think it probably worked best as one.

I also have to mention that after spending $1 billion on five seasons of *Rings of Power*, they have filled the platform with YA shows and movies.

yeah but the mcu tv shows are usually never nominated for the real deal type awards like best show best actor and actress best supporting actor and actress best producer and best director at the upper class style award shows
and the only times mcu tv shows are usually always nominated for the real deal type awards like best show best actor and actress best suporting actor and actress best director and best producer are only at the mid level style award shows like mtv tv and movies awards the nickeloden awards the disney channel awards
and its the same for the mcu movies like they are usually always never nominated for the real deal type awards at the upper class style awards
like most of the mcu movies should have had record breaking nominations at the oscars and golden globes from 2008 to 2026
This was my take on the series as well.
I saw that. I wonder if he ever had real interest continuing this at all? When these shows are announced as cancelled it’s always assumed that comes from network or streaming service. But if lead actor passes on offer do you ever hear that? Or if ask for more money than they know will never get. Effectively ends a series. I have heard of that happening. Maybe not right way but it comes out as reason eventually later on.
Was he ever offered a contract beyond a single season? Is there any evidence that anything more than a season was being considered?
