Assuming it's the same Q child, the timeline would be The Q and the Gray, Squire of Gothos, Wedding Bell Blues, Like Chronitons Through the Hourglass and Q2.
That's my chosen interpretation.
Memory Alpha treats Trelane and Q Junior as two separate offspring, which has also been my take. The Suzie Plakson Q has at least two offspring before leaving John de Lancie.

No way is Keegan de Lancie the same being as Rhys Darby and William Campbell. Q decides to take two dips in the Plakson Pool.
Plus Alexander is coming back and calling her mother also
There's nothing to contradict either interpretation, at least for now anyway. Other than a conspicuous lack of another child being mentioned in Q2. But surprise relatives that always existed are hardly anything new in this franchise so it's a very minor thing.
I’ve seen it all. Still not all that planned. But 20 years later still great sci fi.
Time for it to rest then
I just rewatched the Voyager episode “Death Wish”. If you view what Quinn says through linear time nothing makes sense. He had been imprisoned in a comet for 300 years. Yet he says he was inspired by Q’s own rebellion which we saw on TNG. Which obviously happened during previous 300 years... in human terms . There is long history of the writers intentionally showing us that time in the Q Continuum is nothing like ours. Nothing we have seen with Trelane and him being a Q contradicts any of that. Any interpretation works. Which I know makes some fans uncomfortable. They want everything to be definable so it can be catalogued. So they can judge everything for perceived mistakes.

I'm shocked. Well, not that shocked.
I will share the pain, and gain strength from the sharing.
It's an extremely hard pass for me. Pretty close to the most "Star Trek for Senior Citizens" concept possible, Paul Wesley doesn't have the juice to replace Anson Mount as a leading man (I like him as a guest star, but otherwise, no), and they've already done a bunch of what people would be looking for from the early days of Kirk's Enterprise on SNW.
It might be fun for people who want something to fill out, say, what Kirk and Gary Mitchell's early relationship looked like. But that puts us in the same "persnickety filling out of encyclopedia entries" territory that gave us Acolyte in the Star Wars television franchise.
For all its flaws, DISCO was willing to take risks on new characters, concepts, and settings. We already have 80+ episodes, multiple movies, and multiple reboot movies with Kirk. It's clear by now: that kind of thing isn't going to pull in new audiences in any reliable way in the long term. The window for that had already expired by the time Star Trek: Beyond came out.
The Year One concept just seems boring and narratively limited, and maybe we just need some new shit. If it does not happen, I will not miss it.

Yes. I agree. No more kirk and company in the early years. I've had my fill of that. I went to the showing of TWOK and Space Seed on Saturday. My sister and I were on the younger end of the audience. Most people were in their late 60s to late 70s. There was even a lady in a walker. No younger people at all in the audience. Definitely no teens or twenty somethings. Star Trek will need a long rest or it might be time for it to move into history permanently. Its been 60s years now. I think of it this way. The old movie serials like Flash Gordon weren't being continued 30, 40, 50 or 60 years later. They just moved into movie /sci fi history. If there are any young people interested in old classics theyll find them. Same with Trek. Its no longer the cultural phenomenon that it was. The Kelvin movies were the last movie attempt at a full reboot. By the 3rd movie it had lost popularity. Its just not a viable property in modern times it seems. SNW is not doing well any longer in the streaming era. It really might be best for Trek to move on. Young people are interested in other things now. Star Trek is moving into a historical curiosity.l now.
I love The Good Place, it's one of all time favourite series, but ouch. When Star Trek doesn't even get to be compared to a sci-fi series like BSG anymore, then it's in real trouble.
I hate to say this... you're right
Star Trek is stuck. If it continues to "tried and true" formula, it will continue to be repetitive and end up where at 48, ill be the youngest viewer. And if it tries new things, then it's not Trek and Im not watching.
You can't please anyone, so let's just put it out to pasture.
Its last rest from TV didn't do a whole lot of good. Unless you mean... "forever sleep" to quote my namesake in which case, yes, perhaps.
