I want the two of them to get a solo adventure set in their prime with the two actors deaged by CGI.
She will come back but I think they don't want to undermine the Yelena character. Though I have prediction that Yelena will die. Actually all the Thunderbolts will die. Either in this Avengers movie or the next. With X-Men, Avengers and Fantastic Four they become kind of pointless.
Though you know what. I think they might be saving Scarlett as a post credit scene in the next Avengers movie. We see a young man with a beard. He is the new Tony Stark and Scarlett shows up asks him about maybe being a Avenger. She in essence takes on the old Nick Fury role. Of course it means they got to find a new Tony Stark as well, that they plan to bring back in other movies.
I would love to see that as well. Though I am thinking more of a tv series than movie. Have it set in the 80's. It would be fun. They could also bring back Peggy Carter as well, who would be in charge of SHIELD though not sure if they just tap dance around the fact that Hydra has wormed itself into SHIELD by that point.
I'm pretty sure that the X-Men who are all getting killed, and either the FF get "merged" with the main world or go back to theirs. They didn't put the Thunderbolts together to kill them so easily. Especially not with new younger rising actors like Florence Pugh.
They're past the OG, if anything they're going to eliminate Thor and maybe Banner as well in this to close the book on them too.
I wonder how many people will watch this movie. I've seen comments on Twitter ranging from "we're dying of excitement" to "no excitement at all." There's also the fact that the trailer and some scenes were leaked months before the CGI was even finished. It's even rumored that the script was leaked. Because of all this, some people aren't excited. My excitement is only a tenth of what it was during Endgame. Whether I'll see this movie in theaters is uncertain.
I think the X-Men will also die but of course that will just make way for the new versions of them in the new MCU. Pugh is a rising talent but her character is also sort of seen as being connected to the sort of post ENdgame dark days of the MCU. If I was Disney I would be trying to find something to do with her in Star Wars instead. She might have better luck than Rey when it comes to being one of the new big faces of the brand.
I could see them being excited about doing a movie with Pugh and Gosling playing his new character, provided the movie works out.
In just over 8 hours, the trailer has had 24 million views. People are excited. I already have my ticket ready.
Nah, total waste....Yelena is a better character than Natasha ever was anyways.
It will be a big hit though maybe not as big as they want. Quality and word a mouth I think will play a big role in whether or not it has a long self life, after opening week. But opening week it's going to rake in lots and lots of money.

Doomsday looks exactly the same as every other underwhelming, formulaic Marvel movie since Endgame.
The amount of money it must cost to bring so many back for this crossover, there's a very good chance this really is the beginning of the end. Unless the toys sell really well.

All things considered, it's almost easy to forget that there's another Marvel movie coming before Doomsday. Maybe someone needs to start a separate thread?
I think this movie has a box office potential of 1.5-2 billion dollars. But after Secret Wars, all future projects need to have their budgets reduced. After this and Secret Wars, we need to say goodbye to RDJ, Chris Evans, and the old X-Men cast, never to use them again. Also, there should be a $100 million budget limit for future projects, especially the X-Men reboot and its offshoots.

I don't think that's a new trailer. It's not from Marvel, the audio of first ten seconds doesn't work, and something about the video quality doesn't look right. I didn't watch the whole thing.
