Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

Not to mention, from what I gather in that article Briones had to deal with unruly audience members who were comparing her to her character from The Pitt, which also adds to there being no real Picard connection here.

Rios trying to light a cigar on the bridge was the worst thing in Picard season 2.

Well I mean, you know it could be argued that, that is to say that, maybe if you look it at...

Oh fine I think it's hot. There I said it.

After Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Seasons 1 and 2 of Star Trek: Picard will be added to TOD Türkiye, owned by Qatar's beIN Group, on June 15 and June 30 respectively. This will mark the first time Picard is released with a Turkish dub.

At this point, the only Star Trek series that still have not been dubbed into Turkish are Seasons 4 and 5 of Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Lower Decks.

The original Star Trek and the first ten Star Trek films were dubbed for the franchise's 50th anniversary by Digitürk, a subscription-based satellite television provider owned by beIN Group. The other legacy Star Trek series were dubbed by Netflix. The Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Trek Beyond films directed by J. J. Abrams either have Turkish dubs on their DVD releases or were dubbed for theatrical screenings.

Actually, Prime Video broadcast it here, just like in other countries. But unfortunately, they only broadcast it with subtitles.

TOD also released a dubbed version of the awful Paramount Plus movie Star Trek: S31 at the end of last year.

Tom Paris in Season 1: "Humans stopped using tobacco centuries ago."
Alex Kurtzman: "Yeah, about that. You aren't gonna believe this, but...."

Smoking: whom and what? As I said elsewhere (upthread?) aliens might still smoke, and it need not be just tobacco they're warning against. It might as well say "no open fires" - for safety reasons.
