I feel bad for Vancouver. I can't really complain since the Sharks got the 2OA pick again, but Toronto having that press conference and then getting 1OA was kind of hilarious. Vancouver is still going to get a great player though.
That press conference when so bad that it (along with a large number of e-mails to Fan Services) convinced our terrible terrible Owner back down from hiring Pierre Dorion as GM .
At least last summer we got to say "The Canucks win the Cup" we just said certain parts quietly lol

Canes looked like a team that had a 12 day lay off and the Habs looked like a team still riding the adrineline of game 7. I expect this series to be a lot closer and I can actually see Montreal winning.
Its a great Young team I would love to see the Habs break the Curse of St. Patrick by beating the Avs and MTL geting the double given the Walter Cup win

Carolina looks really mortal. Vegas got hot at the right time and I think Carolina had it too easy through the Eastern Conference. I hope this series goes at least 6, but it's looking like what Vegas did to Colorado.

This has been an amazing final. I hate that Vegas is involved, but back and forth and a lot more high scoring than I thought.
So many great story lines
I don't remember a Stanley Cup Final where it felt like the games were not the top storyline. With the Nurse and Larkin news and Babcock for some reason coming back, and then the games, it's been wild. I think Carolina takes this on Sunday but I wouldn't really mind a game 7 for the Cup. This has been a great final so let it go all the way. Then we got the Draft and the summer where we might see a lot of trades and offer sheets.

His coaching style was out of date before he even coached in the league.
The only reason he gets hired again & again is because teams (and fans) have this notion that players are "soft" & need somebody tough to get them in line. Or that the media needs someone to stand up to them. He has never shown himself to be any kind of tactical genius & eventually, his shtick gets old.
He'll get hired again & the cycle will begin again.
He coached the Canucks for one year and is hated almost as much as Mark Messier and he is best remebered for trying to enter the opposing teams dressing room to fight
and starting Eddie Lack in the outdoor game over Bobby Lou
at the end of the day when your goalie is playing like Hart and who have a cup winning goalie on the bench and you don't make the change WTF
Look at Rod The Bod he wasn't scared to make the change and now he joins a very elite club of Men who have captained team to a cup and coached the same team to a cup
