Spoilers Starfleet Academy Episode Preview Thread

Seems like the titular “300th night” is actually the motto of this party we’re seeing. I gotta say, this is really the first version of the Academy ever shown on Trek that I would actually like to be part of.

Oh, and it seems like stealing the shuttle and getting to Ukeck will all be in this one episode. Seems like they put a really tight lid on anything related to the season finale and didn’t put any shots of that in the mid-season trailer.

See, I'd prefer the one from the 24th century that gives you free reign to transport around Earth on your off hours.

The 32nd century cadets do have a free reign to travel on their off hours. In 'Series Acclimation Mil' Genesis mentions that she has been exploring Earth because it's the first planet she has been on. And we see the cadets go to a bar in the off hours in the very same episode.

Caleb was restricted to campus for 90 days in 1.01, which would have ended during 1.05.

Tilly is pretty awful. Fortunately, this turned out to focus on the kids and Picardo; Wiseman was a bit more than an overhyped cameo.

Says you.

For my money, that was far and away the best episode of the season, and Tilly was fantastic.

Hope this episode makes itctwo in a row.

Kind of surprised they're wasting money on a shuttle when they could just have the cadets use one of those portals from episode 7.

I'm sure there are plot reasons. And it's a lot more dramatic than "blip you're here". Also, is it a shared technology?

They're stealing the shuttle, it doesn't matter if it's shared or not, just whether the former king could believably get his hands on one of the remotes.

You know, Paramount should have added SFA, or at least some Star Trek skins for Fortnite. Lost opportunity to try and get some younger folks interested.

Apparently he cannot. Divorce is rough.
Oh, he absolutely could have, and it would have probably saved the production a bunch of money.

Something they really could have used given how blatant the last couple episodes have been with their set reuse.
