Nah, Mirror Lorca was the best part of DSC. A fresh new character.
Its all true. Kurtzman wanted him out. He had paramount or himself give matalas a ridiculous offer to continue with his legacy idea knowing matalas would turn it down. So all the fans got was precious little of anything that resembled classic trek. Instead of Legacy we got academy. Academy is all kurtzman. He couldn't even get the Betazoids right.

They dreaded episode 4 when President Archer goes aura farming in order to win the upcoming election.

As always, the anti-Kurtzman crowd are providing their own special brand of entertainment with their blind vitriol, their inability to accept that things change and their desperate attempts to draw attention to themselves.
I just can't wait for the time when Kurtzman Trek is put on a pedestal and they hate whatever version of NuNu Trek we're watching.

Yep... I can just image all the shit they said back in the day. Berman is a hack, Braga is a horrible writer. Voyager is too woke. The NX-01 doesn't look like it's "supposed" to look, clearly an alternate timeline. Disrespecting Gene's vision....

I remember someone going monkey shit because Enterprise had phase cannons and pistol. They pitched an absolute fit about it not respecting canon, claimed it made the show trash, and argued that it disrespected Worf’s line in TNG about there being no phasers in the 22nd century They also insisted that the fact they weren’t using the lasers from “The Cage” was proof that the showrunners didn’t care about continuity and should be fired.

Once again my nerdom is confirmed. Couldn't help notice that none of them was wearing their combadges and one guy is wearing a "First Contact" uniform another is wearing a white one that I am not sure what it is from.
