I believe that is the grey version from DSC season 3 and just lighting making it look a little blue-ish. Also she has the regular tricom badge in it. I wonder if the Athena logo badge is even a combadge at all and just a pin to show off that it's the school uniform.

These preview photos are traditionally released on Monday afternoons (or very late morning). By releasing them on a Sunday evening they have violated tradition and are seriously harshing my calm. I will thus have little recourse than to dock each episode five points in my review of them automatically and will call for Kurtzman to be fired because of course he totally deserves to be. I'm also going to nonsensically whine about this show being too woke and claim this somehow goes against Gene's Vision.

Totally. I wonder if it leads to a completely different scene that plays right after this one, so that in the cut of the actual episode it makes more thematic sense.
