Anyone still build models?

I knew it was the Merchantman just from the parts, but I've never heard "SS Eileen" before. Apparently it was called that in FASA's Stardate magazine back in 1984 for an RPG module (per mα).
That was the name that the builder gave it. I've been helping him source parts to build a replica as well, as the original no longer exists (in a non-butchered config, if at all). Helped him on his Surak too, parts and dims and all the fun.

That is brilliant! I never tire of seeing things like this. The creativity and love that went into to this project are why I follow threads like this. I could never do anything like this, but I can certainly admire it. Well done to these guys.

Question how to calculate scale for a figure? Those guns I made above were 1/3 scale so how big would a figure have to be to pose with them? These were the original posts on the previous page

Well, if it's 1/3 scale, you just need to divide the normal height by 3. So if you want a figure that would normally be 6 ft tall, it would need to be 2 ft tall to match the guns.Question how to calculate scale for a figure? Ah thanks I was so close.. I ended up working out 3ft tall figures, then looked up how that would cost and said "nope" lol

Agreed - this is probably my favorite of the new non-aligned "Atolmian" designs. Although I think it could also just as easily find a comfortable home within the Borg fleet. 
It is not as detailed as you believe... It is just a small mock-up. The "cube" section is only 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) cubed.
