Star Wars: Starfighter (2027)

Dark Horizons has what claims to be the first glimpse of the movie’s plot…

If you’re looking at Amy Adams’ ‘seems to be a Jedi’ middle aged redhead and this Force-sensitive teenage boy (who looks a LOT like Hayden Christensen) and coming to an EU-flavored conclusion… well, that’s probably what they want us to think.

Can you flip a Star Destroyer?

You mean Adams could be Mara Jade, and her kid Luke's son? That would be pretty wild, making Luke a failed father as well as a failed Jedi leader, failed uncle, failed brother and brother-in-law, and failed New Republic public servant. :wtf:

Or maybe it'd be a secret kid, like Jack Crusher?

Either way, I have a hard time believing Kennedy would sign off on a story that would effectively sideline Rey in the grand scheme of things to a sort of caretaker of the Skywalker men's legacies, but maybe if that is the plan, it wasn't her choice. We'll see...

I thought Luke specifically said at one point that he was following the old Jedi Order's no attachments rule. I guess he could have broken his own rule, but I can't imagine they'd want to turn Luke into the kind of character who would abandon his wife and kid.

Well, abandoning his wife and child would be in line with the No Attachments deal. Remember, Jedi are not celibate, they can have sex. They're just not allowed to love the person they have sex with.

Well, that could fit into my question "Or maybe it'd be a secret kid, like Jack Crusher?" Maybe Luke and Mara hooked up, he regretted it, and Mara quietly left rather than tell him she was preggers.

Ultimately, I agree with @The Nightmare Doctor; I don't think Adams' character will be Mara Jade. It's probably just a coincidence based on red hair. But, if the theory/guess is indeed true, like I said, it'd be wild.

Or that we didn't see Luke in episode 8 and 9, but It was his clone Luuke ! ;)

In my opinion they can ignore episodes 8 and 9 and give Luke his family
