If you’re looking at Amy Adams’ ‘seems to be a Jedi’ middle aged redhead and this Force-sensitive teenage boy (who looks a LOT like Hayden Christensen) and coming to an EU-flavored conclusion… well, that’s probably what they want us to think.
I thought Luke specifically said at one point that he was following the old Jedi Order's no attachments rule. I guess he could have broken his own rule, but I can't imagine they'd want to turn Luke into the kind of character who would abandon his wife and kid.You mean Adams could be Mara Jade, and her kid Luke's son? That would be pretty wild, making Luke a failed father as well as a failed Jedi leader, failed uncle, failed brother and brother-in-law, and failed New Republic public servant.
Or maybe it'd be a secret kid, like Jack Crusher?
