I've been hearing fans increasingly whispering the showrunners aren't giving Navia weighty material because they don't think she has the acting chops of the rest of the main cast. I'm very much rooting for this episode to prove them wrong.

I've been hearing fans increasingly whispering the showrunners aren't giving Navia weighty material because they don't think she has the acting chops of the rest of the main cast. I'm very much rooting for this episode to prove them wrong.

Fans like to whisper about all sorts of things with no real basis in reality. Most of the Trek folks on Youtube fall squarely into this category.

She's had a few standout scenes and was heavily featured in the 3rd season premiere.

The same fans that were whispering Alex Kurtzman would be fired... all the way back when Discovery had just aired, in 2017..! We're almost 10 years and 5 (!) new series further, and nope: not fired yet... Those 'fans' know nothing...
