Not digging the web-shooters, But I'm an old school comics guy where the web-shooters are invisible under the gloves.
Damn, I didn't notice the web-shooters until you mentioned them, but I have to agree. I much prefer them hidden under the gloves. Not digging the web-shooters, But I'm an old school comics guy where the web-shooters are invisible under the gloves.
They aren't that hard to draw. Other characters have wrist mounted weapons. (Including Black Widow). What they do do is interfere with the flow of the costume. The only reason they weren't that way in the comics was that it was easier to draw, which isn't an issue in live action.

If they wanted the shooter on the outside of the costume, Ditko would have put them there. I'm willing to bet the costume came first and the mechanics of the web-shooters later. (In real world development)I didn't say they were hard to draw, I said it was easier not to. There's a difference. It's not like there are only two difficulty settings in life.

I don't know. He covered the costume with webs. Those are a pain in the ass to draw and look right. That's my point -- they didn't want to, because it simplified things. You mention Black Widow, but she didn't adopt the costume you mention with the visible wrist devices until 1970. The artwork in 1961 comics was simpler, the printing generally cheaper, so costumes back then were less detailed. Or maybe, as you say, Ditko just didn't want to bother with drawing visible shooters. I don't see why you're picking an argument when we're not really that far apart.
As could shaking hands and taking pics.I guess starring in a movie could be considered "interacting with films"...![]()
Is he giving us homework?Robert Downey Jr posted on Instagram his summer music and reading list.
At the top of it was the trade paperback version of Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars from 1984-85.
This is already pretty much every movie and TV episode, almost all the dialogue in everything that you watch is ADR. No matter how quite they try to keep things there's just to much background noise for most dialogue from filming to actually be useable, especially when filming on location.Coming soon.! The first ever 100% ADR MCU film!![]()
People didn't like the character. It doesn't help that she is overpowered. She could literally come in and save the day in each movie. Stark's greatest strength at being the face of the MCU is people would love that character, even he never put on another Iron Man suit. Downey Jr gave him so much personality. Evans has that Aw Shucks vibe as well that made people like him. In a MCU way Iron Man was basically Batman and Captain America was Christopher Reeve's Superman.
Captain Marvel has no personality. She is to robotic and lacking a sense of humor. It is fun watching her in action scenes but anything else is just boring.
