Then a question: let's say I come up with another joke or pun, but no one else comments or puts up their own joke here since my last post. (A day, a week, a month, or whatever amount of time, short of it being the year limit for a thread to be considered dead.) How exactly am I supposed to share the joke? Start a new thread just for that joke? Every time?

The board works on a Market philosophy. If a thread is interesting to people, then they’ll respond. If it’s not or it dies out naturally, then it will fall down the list.

When someone keeps bumping their own thread without other people participating, it’s considered a form of spamming. This has been consistently enforced here.

So the answer to your question is “you don’t.” Or maybe start something in the lounges where the traffic is far less.

That’s the last I’ll address this here.
