Not buying any of it. The tone in TOS just doesn't support it. It's a complete rewrite. Also Spock can't marry Tpring In SNW. Because he already technically is. It was an marriage arrangement from their parents at 7 years old. Less than a marriage but more than a betrothal According to Spock.

Right. It won't even get what used to be standard for 2 seasons worth of episodes on network TV. 46 episodes is a paltry amount.

Good. I usually end up skipping half or a third of the episode of any of the previous series seasons anyways.

When rewatching SNW or LDS I don't skip any episodes.

50 episodes would have been better, but 46 is good.

Well I am a completist when rewatching Trek. For example I will watch every episode of TOS in production order when doing a month or so long binge watch. I even watch Spock's Brain and The children shall lead. The only episode of any of the pre Kurtzman series I will skip is that awful TNG clip episode when Riker was conked out...

As for the Kurtzman line of shows/movies there are some really bad episodes in all the shows but none skip worthy. EXCEPT for the awful section 31 movie. Holy Chalupas, that was bad.

(Fyi I don't watch the cartoons so I didn't count them.)

I am. well maybe not SNW since it's premise already had a built in end point. But some shows I really wish they would. I think Disco would have benefited from more episodes. So many characters on that show needed more screen time. But I love shows that have a ton of episodes. Gun smoke is one of my all time favorites for example...
