Progress on the NX-01! Few spots need a little attention, but overall pretty happy with the results. I really think I nailed the colour.

It's been about 20 years since the last time I actually built any models, but when I went to the mall over in Burbank this afternoon, these two versions of the RX-78-2 Gundam called out to me. Gonna try putting them together over the holiday weekend.

Yesssssss..... Welcome back to the world of physical model building.

I would but the stickers annoy me. I can never put them on straight.
Painting as well but you can buy some that are pre painted.

Yay the Bandai kits are great. Bonus being that you won't get messy with glue and they stay together very well. Not keen on stickers though

I built one of the earlier Master Grade versions of the RX-78-2 back in the day, so I'm glad I know what I'm getting in for.

The only thing I'm fearful of is losing that damn "V-fin" while snapping it to the cranial assembly...

Yeah I'm collecting my Blokees figures and making a set some of the parts are like "not too much pressure" and hope they don't snap. I've had that happen with gundams
