News Khan has finished production and will come out this year

1) When does Khan start to blame Kirk? Obviously when things on Ceti Alpha go tits up.
For whatever it's worth, I expect them to retcon this so Khan is furious at Kirk from the get-go, implying they weren't left amicably as "Space Seed" depicts.

Why? Because Modern Trek, that's why.

Coming off of a lot of experience in blasting Big Finish productions I wonder how this will compare in terms of sheer audio quality. I have high hopes it'll be a neat little thing even if my brain throbs sometimes at trying to figure out the canon way things are meant to go. I'm just glad Naveen got some employment for a neat little project!

I suppose they wonder why Chekov in particular sticks in Khan's mind. Then again, they're possibly oversimplifying things; anyone from the Enterprise might be "YOU!" to Khan.
Well, yeah, Chekov was the one in that scene. It could have been Kyle beamed down with Captain Terrell, or maybe Sulu was serving on the Reliant and beamed down or Mr. Leslie, Khan would still have said "I never forget a face Mr. Kyle/Sulu/Leslie/Whoever." Screen Rant is looking for a mystery where none exists.

Well, either way it'll likely be addressed in this audio drama anyway without Screen Rant's prompting that this is a thing which could happen.

Until the drama comes out, who among us knows what Khan was really thinking, even as he appeared to part on favorable terms?

There's an interesting idea:
frozen Kelvinverse Khan and his crew may be, as of the end of Into Darkness, stored on a Starfleet facility built on Ceti Alpha V. And Marla may have been assigned there rather than the Kelvin Enterprise. The fourth film writes itself - she releases him, and he's back...with a vengeance.

I don't think we need to redact story ideas outside of Trek Lit. And while that would be interesting, it would be really repetitive for half of the Kelvin movies to be about Khan.

True. It wouldn't be surprising, though.

And unlike the difference between TWOK's premiere and ID's, there'd be a comparatively small time gap between the audio drama and any Kelvin fourth film.

(Though I suppose if the audience for the audio drama is on a comparable scale to that for tie-in novels, when contrasted with the large audience for theatrical films, it might not be an issue worth worrying about.)

For whatever it's worth, one of the pitched ideas for Star Trek 4 that went nowhere would have ended on a cliffhanger with Klingons storming and taking over Starfleet HQ on earth, and their leader unmasking to reveal Khan.
