Heirs of Kavenus

The Enterprise is sent to mediate peace negotiations between two warring planets in the Kavenus Star system, as a host aboard ship to its two world leaders, who both happen to be exceptionally pampered 13 years old girls, and who both become immediately smitten with the young, recently commissioned Acting Ensign Wesley Crusher.

Wesley is put in the awkward position of having to aid the mission, because neither will show the least respect to any other person aboard, Wes needs to act on behalf of the billions of people locked in a centuries old interplanetary war, while gingerly handling the two girls who are in competition to gain his affections, with as much help in understanding teenage girls as his mother, Counselor Troi & even Guinan can offer him.

Next episode: Stay The Course

"Stay The Course" - After his impatience and temper almost cause a diplomatic incident, Deanna prescribes activity therapy for a suspended Worf. He join Data and Geordi for holo-golf, after unsuccessful attempts at other patience-building activities (space Jenga, arts and crafts, etc), and is determined to master it. Meanwhile, the Enterprise-D is being escorted through an unstable area of space by a pilot boat of sorts, but it may be a set-up for a trap.

The Knight of Gothos

A Story
: While exploring a mysterious medieval-themed planet, the Enterprise encounters Trelane, a flamboyant and enigmatic figure with technology far beyond the Federation's understanding, who abducts Wesley Crusher and declares him his squire. Unable to penetrate the planet’s advanced defenses hidden beneath its primitive facade, Picard and Riker must negotiate Wesley’s release. Trelane, seeking entertainment and honor, challenges the crew to a jousting match, with Wesley’s freedom at stake. Riker dons armor to duel Trelane while the Enterprise crew races to outwit his technological advantage. Ultimately, through cunning and courage, Riker wins the contest, forcing Trelane to release Wesley, but not before the capricious knight imparts a final reminder of the unpredictable nature of the galaxy.

B Story: While the away team deals with Trelane, Data takes it upon himself to mentor the neurotic Ensign Barclay, aiming to boost his confidence and initiative. Through a series of hilariously misguided "confidence-building" exercises—including a holodeck mission featuring exaggerated caricatures of the crew—Barclay becomes increasingly overwhelmed by Data’s well-intentioned but overly analytical approach. However, when a real systems failure occurs, Barclay unexpectedly steps up and solves the problem, spurred by Data’s unrelenting faith in him. The experience leaves Barclay cautiously more self-assured and Data convinced of his success, already planning his next mentorship project.

Next Episode: "Brief Candle"

"Brief Candle": At an inquest into the death of Daria Schroeder, a newly graduated Enterprise-D crewmember who died mysteriously while on an away mission, members of the senior staff recall interactions with the woman. Deanna is unable to handle the death, looking for evidence of a troubled mind that isn't there, certain she committed suicide, while Beverly tries to determine the manner of her death, but is stumped. Riker feels guilty for not keeping a better watch on the away team, and Picard feels he can't look her father in the eyes after assuring her that his only daughter will be safe. Eventually, everyone has to help each other deal with the trauma. Meanwhile, Data observes their varied emotions from a detached perspective, but is thrown into the loop when Spot becomes very ill.

"True Minds" - During an attempt to catalogue an anomaly near a random moon, the Enterprise-D is struck by a series of energy surges (every few hours) that seemingly combines different aspects of the ship together. Resulting in certain vital systems breaking down entirely or producing interesting new combinations when they manage to work. (That will never be touched on after this episode to keep serialization) However, the surge of energy also combines organic material as well. Resulting in the combination of two ensigns into one entirely new being, built on the memories and feelings of those before it. Despite this combination's promise, the feelings and faults of two distinct people working through their own different types of romance creates a difficult situation as those prior aspects manifest themselves due to the imperfect process. All as the bridge crew works to stop the source of those energy surges and save the Enterprise-D before it becomes truly inoperable.

Next Episode: "To Err"

"To Err": Geordi is part of an engineering team dispatched to Roena VI to diagnose and repair problems with the critical systems supporting cybernetically-supported accident victims and veterans. However, they are met by protesters who refuse to allow the program to be perfected, as they feel having it work too well would make them something other than people. Is it really errors that make one human? Meanwhile, Beverly faces up to her misdiagnosis of a crew woman with a less serious disease two years ago when she meets with the patient, now living on the planet and suffering from her condition.

"Sparring Partners"
In the nearly insoluble and centuries old conflict between the T'mar and the Ovoidains, representatives of all major powers present in the quadrant are asked to broker a peace. The catch, however, is that each species can send only one representative and it must be a representative that espouses species' attitude to the limit, so that all perspectives are covered.

So it isn't long before 'most moral and diplomatic' captain Picard finds himself in the company of the most duplicitous member the Romulan Senate has to offer, and the most battle-thirsty and honour-obsessed general Klingon, the smuggest Vulcan ever (let's say Solok), the most obsequious and slimy Vorta imaginable (ok, strictly speaking this is perhaps outside of TNG's run), a Ferengi businessman that sold his own mother not just metaphorically but for real, and so on. And they have one week to come up with a solution that both parties will accept. Can they?

In the B-story , job rotation week forces Worf to give therapeutic sessions together with Deanna.

Next: Aleph-one (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleph_number#Aleph-one , a certain 'degree' of infinity of a set, but I think the title just sounds nice).

"Aleph-One": Enterprise-D enters a region of space where their computers cease working properly after automatically tying in with a malfunctioning ancient computer system that has been built into a planet. Picard, Riker, and an away team navigate the ruins searching for a way to disconnect or repair the computer, while Data remains inside an isolation chamber he was already working inside for other reasons when they arrived, in order to preserve his still-functioning systems (so a Faraday cage-type thing). He logs his experiences in isolation as another experiment in understanding humanity.

Still Life

An unusual dying alien makes an unprecedented request to Picard for post-mortem asylum. After he dies, the medical team's analysis determines that cellular levels of life are still active in his body. A biological process is taking place, from which emerges new lifeforms, out of his organic matter, that may well be intelligent also.

It becomes clear that his request was an attempt to see them protected from his people, who want to claim the body, likely to prevent them from emerging. Picard faces a choice of preserving new life or following prime directive orders that don't recognize requests of asylum for the dead.

In the background of events, some of the crew take issue with Data's new artistic endeavor of painting "projected portraits" of his crewmates, that are predictive of how they will look in their old age.

"The Age of Acceptance": Riker must mediate on the colony world of Virdatia when the people are divided between the leader and a younger man who has a different idea about how to solve a water crisis. "Conflict of Interest"
In a rare show of inter-government cooperation and as a show of friendship the Enterprise has been tasked to meet with Klingon and Romulan ships to engage in wargames scenarios against a potential Borg incursion. Tensions run high between Commander Tomalak and General Martok with Picards presence being questioned by both 'as we cannot be sure he is not an unwitting spy for the Borg.' Thus, in the interest of encouraging cooperation between the alpha quadrant powers, Picard was sent on a separate mission in sector with Ro Laran only to doscover the remains of an Iconian device that may turn a heated, but theoretically harmless, wargame into something with very real consiquences.

Next Episode: "Q & A"

It is discovered that along with the Q continuum, an equally powerful A continuum exists that has been mortal enemies with the Q's for eons. But one of the Q's falls in love with one of the A members and they have to hide it, and forbidden romance tropes abound, and in the end, everything turns out all right after a heartfelt inspirational speech by Captain Picard preaching tolerance and peace and other such mumbo jumbo.

These guys?

These guys?
Maybe lol. I wasn't familiar with the M's. No biggie. Everything I think of that I think is an original idea, I can google and find people have already come up with them. I was all set to get rich by trademarking the saying "How many bears could Bear Grylls grill if Bear Grylls could grill bears?", but it's already out there. Oh well, maybe my "How many wolves would a werewolf wear if a werewolf could wear wolves?" will be my breakthrough.

These guys?

"Their initial reason for hating the Q was "because there's something about you that really pisses us off", but neither side could see that as an acceptable justification for aggressiveness on either side.

After some substantial time pondering, both the Q and the M attempted to enrage the other by coming up with more complicated reasons for hating the other side.
"

Needlessly overcomplicating things. The Silastic Armorfiends of Striterax simply would've gone with the creed 'You exist, therefore I hate (you)'.

Possibly in Latin too, to give it a bit more gravitas.

Sounds more like James Bond with all the Q and M jibberjabber!

"A Glitch in Time" - While wearing an old jeweled necklace that was gifted to her after she admired it at a shop, Beverly finds herself moving between realities - one where she married Picard instead of Jack, one where she never existed and has to convince the crew who she is, and the real reality. Problem is, the necklace only lasts so long, and she may find herself stuck in the wrong reality. Each one has a crisis that she may be able to solve, but it may use too much precious time.
