Game TNG Episode Pitch Game

"Monkeywrench" - Worf, Troi, Data and Geordi are returning to the Enterprise from Starbase 192 when the type-6 shuttle they are on comes under attack by a Miradorn ship. Taking heavy damage and unable to outrun it, they are forced to land on a habitable moon while they both hide from the Miradorn ship and make repairs at the same time. However, in spite of the limited repairs made, the shuttle cannot break from the habitable moon's orbit. When the Miradorn ship is also forced to land on the habitable moon, the two crews must work together to overcome the energy source that has left both of them stranded.

Meanwhile, as the Enterprise attempts to engage in saucer separation, as the planet they intend to orbit reacts negatively to dilithium-based warp engine, something malfunctions and prevents the saucer separation from being completed. As Riker overseas the engineering teams that work round the clock to figure out the origins and discover sabotage from an unusual device. when they discover that a Klaestron guest being ferried on the Enterprise - an old friend of Beverly's from Starfleet Medical - was the culprit and brought the unusual device from her homeworld aboard the ship. They find that the sabotage was not done out of malice. Instead it was to protect the ship from an ambush of a Miradorn fleet in the sector - a fact the Klastron knows as she was recruited by Starfleet Intelligence.

Next episode: "No Blade of Grass" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Blade_of_Grass_(film))

"No Blade of Grass" - Enterprise-D investigates when the planet Linraria experiences a sudden death of all of its plant life in the area surrounding a Federation agricultural outpost on a formerly uninhabited island. The Linrarians blame the Federation for bringing disease when it's determined that a common Vulcan microorganism is found in high concentrations in the soil. It's naturally found in Vulcan topsoil and aids the growth of plants in Vulcan's less arid regions, but it has mutated on Linraria. Keiko O'Brien, Dr. Selar, and Data work together to determine what went wrong, while Worf and Riker try to hold a containment field around the island until the problem is solved. The Linrarians have a different plan; sterilize the island to prevent the organism's spread. This action is actually a cover to hide their sabotage of the program, as a faction who wants the Federation off their planet is responsible for the plant death. Our science team is held captive, and the sterilization clock is ticking.... Can the truth be discovered and the crew be saved?

Foolish Courage

Picard is once again tasked with organizing a small fleet of ships, which will include the return of the risk taking Commander Shelby, who this time will be captain of her own ship, alongside the Enterprise, & several other ships, captained once again by Picard's senior officers, Riker & Data.

Riker again clashes with Shelby about her risky tactics, during a mission tasked with handling a growing expatriated Borg uprising, after the events of Descent. In the end, it will fall to Picard's leadership, & personal experiences as a liberated Borg himself to resolve the situation, with a little help from his star players, while Shelby learns a valuable lesson about how risky choices can be mitigated with reliance on strong team dynamics.

Next Episode: Façades

"Façades" - After exploring a city on shore leave, Beverly returns to the ship in the body of a stranger, begging for help. An alien identity thief collects identities via alien powers (not tech), which he can give to anyone he likes on a whim, or sell to those looking to change their appearance but keep their wits about them. When they find him, he's dead, and Beverly's body is missing with someone else inside. Can they locate the person who wanted Beverly's likeness and stop them from their sinister plot, then return her to her self (and hopefully other victims)?

Next episode: "Banished"

"Banished" Pts 1&2

After a 1st contact encounter with a highly advanced telepathic species, Troi's sensory abilities become temporarily heightened to an extreme, even beyond Tam Elbrun.

When a team of Betazoid evaluators show up, one of them, Sabin Genestra, a zealot who fears Deanna's ability, fabricates a claim that she's using it to try to control his mind, a crime on Betazed, punishable by exile, & excommunication.

Deanna's fate will lie upon a very unusual legal battle fought by her friends, her mother Lwaxana, & Tam Elbrun himself, who has sensed what is happening to her from light-years away & returns with Tinman to help.

Next Episode: The Last Duty

"The Last Duty" - Picard attends the court martial of a captain who is accused of, rather than trying to rescue his crew, abandoning his ship in a crisis and leaving them to be destroyed. The ship's first officer managed to save the ship, but with casualties. Now the captain is accused of dereliction of duty - but she cannot remember having left on her own volition, though all evidence suggests she did. While Deanna tries to help her remember, Picard investigates by questioning the crew about what they recall. In reality, the first officer used the incident as a cover for a secret one-man mutinous takeover, believing that the captain was not worthy of her job.

Castles in the Air

The Enterprise responds to a distress call from a planet that appears abandoned of the inhabitants that once lived there, & exhausted of all its resources. Suspecting it's been attacked by the Borg, or Crystalline Entity, they plan to send a team to investigate, but before they can, a planetary ring appears, as if from uncloaking, but the ring is no naturally occurring conglomerate of space material.

The ring of material around the planet is actually billions of vessels & space stations, an entire civilization of the planet's inhabitants, who have taken to living in orbit of the ravaged planet below, and whose influence has rendered the Enterprise's engines inert. Being allergic to the warp field necessary for light speed travel, & positioned in an isolated area of space, has relegated them to living entirely in space crafts, which they source by luring & trapping them into their network, just like what's happened to the Enterprise.

The Starfleet crew must find a way to reengage their warp core, which can act as a defense for them against these slowly dying trappers, & allow them to escape.

Next episode: The Court of Disaster

The Court of Disaster: Data is asked to defend an alien race whose current status of "humanity" is being disputed by another alien race that wishes to eradicate the last newly rescued refugee survivors of a supposedly "necessary genocide", citing their race's (actual) lower intelligence and biological development. Meanwhile, Beverly enlists Deanna's help in swaying an unwanted suitor whose feelings she doesn't want to hurt.

Next episode: "Landfall"

Landfall

The captain & his senior staff attend a diplomatic function aboard the captain's yacht Calypso, to a planet with unusual gravity, that makes transport to most areas impossible. Due to unmanageable weather conditions, the ship crashes on a remote island location, where no one can retrieve them. Trapped and looking for ways to be rescued, the crew come across another craft with injured occupants aboard.

Data postulates that it would be possible to construct a makeshift craft from the 2 useless vessels' parts, that could be temporarily sea worthy enough to carry them all out into the middle of the ocean, where gravitational, magnetic & weather conditions are at their least problematic & transport to the Enterprise might be possible.

Meanwhile, with the other senior officers away, Ensign Ro faces challenges in her 1st command of the bridge, trying to determine where the Calypso crashed & how to rescue everyone. Through a spotty communication, she finds out about the away team's plans and must work with Chief O'Brien to conduct a split second transport of everyone, when they reach the narrow window of opportunity.

Her rapport with the chief is drastically improved from the last disaster they faced together & when Capt. Picard returns safely, he decorates her with a commendation & recommends her for an advanced Starfleet tactical training program.

Next Episode: Best Case Scenario

"Best Case Scenario" - Riker leads an away team to Gerricilta to rescue the inhabitants of a geology research base after a geothermal eruption threatens their lives. The Enterprise loses contact when the team becomes trapped with the would-be evacuees, and together, they work to shore up the base until evacuations can commence. Meanwhile, Beverly, also present, must locate an injured child that has become separated from the rest of the group, relying on the ever-weakening telepathic bond between him and his father to guide them.

False Face

A Romulan spy sabotages the Enterprise systems such that they give off readings to other ships that they're engaging their weapons for an attack, during a diplomatic function with the Klingons. Hostilities rise, until Picard's crew can both deescalate the situation, correct the false readings & out the spy.

In a side story, Worf's son Alexander learns he has family from his mother's side, who live on Kronos, one of whom is a human grandmother, who after many years on Earth, now lives as a Klingon there. Worf is unsure about this influence on his family, & complaints are brought up about his questionable ability to parent.

Next Episode: The Ancient Ones

"The Ancient Ones": While exploring an ancient pyramid-like structure on Otenda IX, the away team discover two children hidden in a sealed-off chamber, alive and well after thousands of years. Eager to learn about their lost civilization and study their longevity, Federation officials order the Enterprise-D to bring the children to a science institute. When they begin to show signs of medical distress, however, the crew must figure out how to create the conditions inside their chamber, or whether they simply can't live anywhere else. Meanwhile, Data studies aging by observing older crew members' (not so much older, for humor's sake) age-related changes and difficulties.

In-Q-mmunicado

After having another falling out with the Continuum, following the Amanda Rogers situation, Q goes into hiding where none of them would ever think to look for him, inside the Enterprise's computer system, but now Picard & his crew have to manage their mission while Q acts as the mind & voice of their ship.

Next episode: Square Peg

Curious what the mission is?

"Square Peg" - Enterprise-D encounters the Sohenda, an alien species whose preferred method of dealing with disabled and non-conformists is to conscript them into dangerous offworld combat service, while maintaining the planet's population of like-minded and like-abled people. Their thinking is that these people will die and the gene pool/public square on Suumbar, their home planet, will remain free of aberrations. Now, the population on Suumbar is dwindling as the perfect die out from lack of innovation and freedom, and the exiled wish to come home and mingle again. The planet's government says no. Can Picard convince them that there's a place for everyone? Meanwhile, Riker discusses his frustrations with Deanna when he attends a shipboard literary program as part of officers' mandatory rec time, and feels out of his element compared to the others in his group.

Comma

After a break from his research, Data allows Bruce Maddox the opportunity to study the remains of his daughter Lal's positronic matrix, under the agreement that they combine their research in order to endeavor to correct brother Lore's ongoing malfunctioning. Once finding out about her, Maddox goes against Data's wishes & reveals Juliana Soong's true android nature to her in order to attempt to get her to aid his research as well.

Next episode: The Derelict

"The Derelict" - Enterprise-D is dispatched to retrieve and tow a small defunct non-flying science starship back to a base where it can be dismantled, but is hampered in their efforts by a stubborn man who, after running away from his retirement facility, has taken the ship over as a homestead/farm of sorts. Matters are complicated when the away team sent to prep the ship for towing, including Geordi, are trapped aboard when the derelict ship is boarded by attackers who are looking for a valuable chemical once stored aboard ship, but no longer. Bluffing that they the man's family and crewmates, can the away team seize control of the ship and save everyone's lives?

Next episode: "Overtures"

Overtures

As per part of an unusual first contact ritual, the top 3 command officers of the Enterprise, Picard, Riker & Data must prepare & perform music together, for a visiting alien delegation, as a display of cultural harmony, each choosing their signature instruments to feature in the ensemble, Picard- Ressikan flute, Riker -trombone, & Data - oboe (Rather than just usual violin because a wind instrument fits with them better)

The problem? The telepathic frequency of the aliens is such that everyone aboard ship must continually have music playing in order to avoid a form of delirium setting in.

Next Episode: Gross Overload

"Gross Overload" - A computer malfunction during an upload of information for an important diplomatic mission renders Data comatose when the entirety of the ship's computer database is dumped into his positronic brain. Geordi faces the possibility of Data's death or permanent coma, trying everything he can and receiving advice and comfort from his friends along the way. Meanwhile, Picard is paired with the unlikely partner of Reg Barclay for the mission, which may turn out to be a good thing when he and the Segrido bond over their mutual social awkwardness.

Next episode: "Sometime In Spring"

Sometime In Spring

The Enterprise crew discovers evidence of the last vestiges of a dying race of unusual life forms, who are traveling in time to find the very earliest indications of protohuman life on Earth, with the intention to snuff out the spread of the genetic lineage of the ancient Progenitor species that seeded the galaxy. (The Chase)

It turns out that their seeding the galaxy was not a benevolent act as we'd come to believe, but an attempt to populate as many worlds with their genetic building blocks, as a Iast ditch attempt to drive out the spread of this other species, who would eventually fight them to their extinction.

Now, billions of years later, the Progenitor's strategy is finally having its terminal effect, as the last of this species are using time travel to try to undo their demise, but in order to do so, they must wipe out as much humanoid life from history as possible. Picard is faced with the ugly task of aiding their extinction by being forced to preserve human history.

Next Episode: The Heart of a Star

"The Heart of a Star" - Enterprise-D faces off against the Romulans when a Tal Shiar agent absconds with the Corduma, an ancient stone that is said to be tied to the continued stability of the Triginsian primary. As the clock ticks on the star's collapse into a black hole, the crew chase down the Romulans, who hope to power a ship with the stone. Meanwhile, acting in the role of a big sister/confidante, Deanna is amused by the secret crush a young girl confesses she has on Riker, and has to let her down gently.
