Texture maps have been reapplied to the hull and sit better and more accurately to as-seen in TMP -
There are differences, and for that I apologize. The best will in the world, I cannot quite match 1-to-1 the refit Enterprise, which is why I've called this a "mark ii" and named her Constellation.

Nah, it is not you. "Journey to Babel" has it labeled as "HangEr Deck" which is interesting because IIRC it was produced between "The Doomsday Machine" and "Journey to Babel" which have the correct "HangAr Deck" label.
Even doing some googling there are some recent US Navy documents that still use "HangEr", LOL.

Taking a little break from 3D work. House move and health stuff is getting on top of me, need to take some self care time.

I'm going to take a little break from doing Trek. I've got a private commission to finish that needs my time, and a few personal projects that I'd like to get done as well.
The house move is turning into a nightmare and is now on hold for at least two weeks (probably longer). Hospital wise, they can't get the probes into my legs, so they are going to use my wrists. Not thrilled about that as the idea of not being able to use my hands properly for a time is getting to me, but I need a new Pulmonary Valve and they need to have a look inside and see what's going on (MRI's, CT's and Echo's are all fine, but not 100% clear). Plus I'm still one of the people look after Mum-in-law who needs a lot of support after losing her husband last year. And - well, life in general.
According to the way back machine, this thread started 28 May 2022. I'd like to keep it going, but from time to time I am going to drop out and do other things. I think that's ok. As much as I appreciate that I can post my non-Trek work here, I feel like I'm taking advantage when I do - hence I'll be operating out of here for non-Trek related stuff: Jayru's WIP Dump Thread (Sci-Fi Meshes)
I have more to do on the USS Constellation, lots more
so you can guarantee I will be coming back.

At least a week, something has gone a little wrong. More when I can.
Just thought I'd touch base - I'm doing well (still in hospital, but have a net connection). Obviously I can't do any 3D work whilst I'm here, but things are moving in the right direction and it's possible I will be heading home soon.
