I think he looks more like George Perez's version. The Thing looks like he was drawn by Jack Kirby.

This is a comic book universe, there's no way death is going to be permanent. And the comics already brought her back as a Valkyrie, so they'd just be following her arc in the comics. That's the thing. Once you establish a afterlife exists then death is no longer death. While I doubt they will ever bring the character back they could if they wanted to or just let her live happily ever after in the afterlife.
This is precisely why I didn't have an issue with her death. If we hadn't gotten the Heimdell scene at the end, then I could see an argument against it (but I still think the tragedy of her cancer resonates). Since we did get that scene, her continued arc is properly set up.And the comics already brought her back as a Valkyrie, so they'd just be following her arc in the comics.
Kirby's version is a little stockier.I think he looks more like George Perez's version.
Kirby's version is a little stockier.
True, even Slim Summers and Reed Richards. Most Kirby characters are kind of stocky.
I thought the cancer/Lady Thor storyline was powerful and well done. Based on the end of the movie, I feel we'll see Jane again.
There is no sad theme song like the lonely Bruce Banner walking theme song.
I agree. Fighting the illness and going to battle as a fragile human and not a god is what makes her story, and death, so poignant. Returning as a Valkyrie, or however she would come back, wouldn't negate that sacrifice. Anyway, isn't there a saying, "No one stays dead but Uncle Ben?"I thought the cancer/Lady Thor storyline was powerful and well done. Based on the end of the movie, I feel we'll see Jane again.

Still the definitive theme for Banner and his alter ego.
Interesting point. That's the thing. Once you establish a afterlife exists then death is no longer death. While I doubt they will ever bring the character back they could if they wanted to or just let her live happily ever after in the afterlife.
I think I'm more excited for Thunderbolts than Captain America.
That was really good. This might be fun.
I gotta say, I didn't think I'd hear THAT song in a Marvel trailer...
Now we're getting somewhere! Great trailer, great sense of the overall plot and threat (but left in the dark for those who don't what's being shown), great song choice, and...hell, yeah, Wendell Pierce is in it, if however small of a role!
However, the trailer does raise two questions:
1) I get the Avengers aren't coming. That's been a hanging question since Endgame, one that's been commented on before but never directly addressed until now. Most of them are retired, in absentia, dead, or dealing with their own shit. However, what about Captain America? Makes you wonder how Brave New World will end.
2) I've brought this up before but, again, it's weird how Taskmaster keeps being highlighted as a team member, but barely appears in the trailer and isn't present for at least two of the major set pieces.
