yes but the directors have just been announced, or maybe the official announcement has just come.I assumed they were already working on this.
I was under the impression the 4:3 part was meant to be coming from a TV show that they were filming while Sue was showing the people around, and then everything else was just the regular movie. Finally remembered where I saw that image of the rocket ship before. It's inspired by the 1960 East German/Polish film 'The Silent Star'; known in the West as 'The First Spaceship on Venus', which has been rifted on MST3K.

Also, did anyone else notice that the trailer started in 4:3 aspect ratio before switching to 16:9?
I understand why you feel that way, but for me all of those things are positives. I go into these movies hoping that kind of stuff will be as close as possible to what they're like in the comics, so things looking like they came directly from the comics is big plus for me.I appreciate that thought. I too hope that the movie understands the heart of what made the FF the "world's greatest comic magazine". I think my reaction to the trailer was because none of it was surprising. It played up the retro aspect while not really showing us anything about the characters other than their powers. Ben Grimm looks exactly like the late 60s and 70s version of the character. Galactus' scenes come straight from comic panels. Granted, we haven't seen anything of the story yet, but the teaser just comes across to me as the safest, most fan-serving trailer they can come up with.
The Norton Hulk film is by far the best MCU interpretation of the character. Norton was an excellent Banner, and the film took the gravity of his unenviable situation seriously.
I'm a huge fan of The Incredible Hulk, I think it easily one of the most underrated MCU movies, but I much prefer Mark Ruffalo's take on Banner and the Hulk.Glad to see some love for the Norton Hulk. He really nailed Banner better than anybody since Bill Bixby in terms of his fragility and humanity in the face of the results of his gamma ray experiments.
Well, then it's a good thing Marvel are the ones making it, and not Disney.I can understand your trepidations given how the previous 3x Fantastic 4 movies have been major flops in terms of Critic Response & Fan Response.
Hopefully Disney will handle it correctly. I do want it to be a good movie and hopefully Disney understands how to handle the Fantastic Four.
That would give hope to when they eventually will tackle the rest of the Marvel IP that they've recovered from 20th Century FOX like X-Men.
Oh that's why her name sounds familiar, I think she'd be great for Jean. That all aside, Sadie Sink proved the last season of Stranger Things that she has a lot of raw talent and I've been hoping she would get opportunities to show off that potential. I'm still mad she didn't get any kind of recognition for her performance in that season.
I thought the Hulk rights went back to Marvel a while back? Or was that just the for the movie? So I was doing some Googling & apparently, beyond the Spider-Man Franchise & his cast of characters that belong to Sony right now. The Hulk & Namor Characters / IP are owned by Universal Studios for Solo Film release rights.
So the reason you see Marvel only using "Hulk" with other characters / Marvel Movies is because of the complication due to Universal owning Hulk & Namor.
So anytime we see "Hulk & Namor" in a Marvel movie, they have to be paired with other characters in their respective movies.
We'll never get to see Disney have solo "Hulk & Namor" movies until Universal is willing to sell the rights back to Disney.
I guess we're still dealing with the fall-out of the previous person who decided to sell off Marvel Character/IP rights to various Movie studios, even today.
If they follow her arc in the comics, she'll be back in another movie or two as a new Valkyrie.Personally, it's not necessarily the identity of the actor playing Banner that makes TIH such a great movie; it's the story, tone, theme, and structure.
Edward Norton is excellent, yes, but if you swapped him out for Ruffalo but left everything else the same, I think it would still have been a phenomenal movie.
Incidentally and as an aside, I didn't quite realize how much I missed Liv Tyler's Betty Ross until my rewatch, or how much I'm looking forward to her being in Brave New World; here's hoping her return goes better than Natalie Portman's as Jane Foster did, because I don't think I can handle another 'bring the actress back just to kill off the character' situation.
I don't know, he's worked with a few other comic book writers before, so I have to wonder if this is a case of him not treating them well in general, or Liefield just being pissed he didn't kiss his ass.
Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld will no longer work with Marvel after being denied access to the afterparty of the ‘DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE’ premiere.“Kevin Feige does not treat comic book creators well."
He and Marvel have parted ways several times. Sadly, it never lasts.I don't know, he's worked with a few other comic book writers before, so I have to wonder if this is a case of him not treating them well in general, or Liefield just being pissed he didn't kiss his ass.

No first party confirmations so far, but given the original contract, TIH (The Incredible Hulk) should be back under Marvel's ownership in full.I thought the Hulk rights went back to Marvel a while back? Or was that just the for the movie?
Given that Disney owns Marvel now, you know what I mean.Well, then it's a good thing Marvel are the ones making it, and not Disney.

Never heard The Hollywood Handle anyways so it probably doesn't matter. And the bad news?
He's an artist of limited talent who was in the right place at the right time. Deadpool became Deadpool after he left.Liefield? I'm not surprised, I can't remember why exactly, but I've kind of gotten the impression he can be egotistical ass.
This is the news from Hollywood Report.Another major fan of The Incredible Hulk and the obvious influences the Bixby series had on it.

I guess in this context when people say "Disney" I tend to think of Walt Disney Studios, which is separate from Marvel, although both are owned by the overall Disney company.Given that Disney owns Marvel now, you know what I mean.
It's under the control/direction of the correct Rights Holder, the one we want.
Lead with that next time. This is the news from Hollywood Report.

I think we've been here before.![]()
Actually, what those "fans" complaining were angry about was that Jane got a real role for once and wasn't just some useless shrieking damsel in the backgroundWhether or not Jane comes back again is kind of irrelevant; bringing the actress back and killing her character off in the same story is/was bad optics and hurt Love & Thunder's quality significantly.

They weren't mad she died, they were mad she got to be a heroic lead
Nate Moore says ‘ARMOR WARS’ is not canceled:“We had to slow down some things that were on the front burner. It doesn't mean we'll never make it, but it does mean we just have to be a little bit more considered so that every time out, audiences are guaranteed quality."
