I think Jayson is right. There's been a series too. Add in the movies and it feels like it's been more than that.
I didn't see Welcome to Racoon City, but I don't think it fared very well at the box office.

Watched it during lockdown with my teenage daughters and we all loved it. My wife and I had seen it when it was first out and I think we still enjoyed it just as much. Great to see Mira getting a resurgence after that vile Weinstein scuppered her career.I haven't seen it for ages but I loved that film. Wonder if Garofalo and Cumming will be invited...
They'll start it at high school age. The project is all about Amazon trying to take advantage of the brand. When the first rumors came out, they were talking about another spin-off created by former Gossip Girl writers. and there was talk of 2 tv series being developed. this is the 2nd one I guess because someone else will be doing the creative work on the show. She has already played the young her? The first movie started with her just going off to college! While I would love a sequel to see where the character is today I don't see the appeal of a prequel.
I don't know how true what Reese Witherspoon said is. But she said that the inspiration for this TV series was Netflix's Wednesday.
