The unnecessary reboot/remake of the week thread

That's not possible. Ryan Coogler wants to revive it, but there's been no movement. Nothing cast, nothing filmed.

I found someone on Reddit asking about it. It's click bait.
Well that figures. I didn't see a link in the post. Just the graphic, which looked legit. Damn.

This of course makes it easy to explain how Gizmo gets wet. Also with electricity out who can keep track when it becomes past midnight and thus one might eat not knowing the time.

Yes, great minds think alike! :D Probably also the easiest and fastest way to convey the rules and properties of Gremlins to a new generation.

Supposedly CBS is looking to make another FBI spinoff called.... FBI: CIA, about a joint clandestine task force taking out the garbage in NYC.

I've already prepared my pitch for NCIS: NFL, about crimes that involve current NFL players and coaches who went to Navy. Somehow there will be 22 of them per year even though almost no one from Navy makes the NFL. Maybe make it a buddy cop show with Terry Crews and Brian Bosworth.

Just a couple weeks ago, I made a joke amongst friends on the real world about expecting a TV series about the ATF set in the FBI universe. Looks like I was on the right track, just a different agency.

I hope to hell that's a working title and if this does happen it gets a different title. FBI: CIA is one hella clunky title. But of course, branding is a thing, so that's probably going to be the actual title.

On another plane of existence, the ghost of J. Edgar Hoover just developed an ethereal boner under his spectral evening gown.

I mean, geez, they ought to just call it: "Domestic Surveillance, the series."

To be honest, I feel like that movie has aged pretty badly. The last time I watched it several years ago, I found it difficult to get through it.

How many Resident Evil movies have we had within the last decade? Might be my imagination, but seems there's one announced every year.
