Spoilers What If...? season three discussion thread

I'm just feeling this season has been really week - that said, presumably The Child from 3x04 and the "cliffhanger" from 3x02 will tie together in the Finale, maybe another incarnation of the Omniversal Avengers

I loved the 80s action comedy duo of the Red Guardian and the Winter Soldier. I could watch a whole series of the mad adventurs of Alexei and Bucky traveling the world to save the day from capitalist pigs and commie spies. David Harbour and Sebastian Stan have wonderful chemistry together and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of it in Thunderbolts*. I also loved seeing Bill Foster going full Giant Man mode but I was a bit bummed out that America Ferrara didn't get much more to do than play sidekick.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the Thor the party god episode but by far the best part of it was unexpected coupling of Darcy and Howard the Duck. I loved seeing the continuation of their romance and the mad, insane, zany, bonkers romp they suffered in order to protect their child. I was truly in awe by the number of crossovers and cameos who went after The Ducks' egg. Considering the sheer number of returning characters, it wasn't too much of a surprise we didn't get Christopher Eccleston, Russell Crowe, and Mads Mikkelsen (and yet Josh Brolin popped up for a brief return) but I was disappointed Jeff Goldblum didn't return, especially since he was in the previous episode. I'm just glad we got to hear Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg teaming up again (more of them, please!).

I had forgotten Natasha Lyonne was going to be in this season. I love that she's going to voice the child of Darcy and Howard in a future episode. :D

I didn't even know there was a what if topic on this forum. Your site design makes it hard for me to figure out the forum. Also, I don't think there is an option to edit comments on this forum?

You're new. Editing posts kicks in after you've been here for a little bit.

I loved todays episode, The Ducks were hilarious. I have to admit the human woman giving birth to an egg thing bugged me a little, but the whole thing was just so ridiculous it wasn't enough to ruin things for me. I was a little disappointed we had so many replacement actors in this one, but it was still a lot of fun to see what they did with the characters. I think my favorite was Loki and his ski lodge on Jotunheim. And now I want Nick Fury to start saying "Fury out!" every time he leaves in the Sacred timeline.

Yeah, it was a pretty good imitation, if I hadn't noticed his name wasn't in the credits, I might have thought it was Goldblum.

The guy voicing the Grandmaster did a pretty good Goldblum. It's not easy to match his delivery.
Yeah, pushing passed my disappointment that he didn't return, I was thoroughly impressed by his replacement.

No stranger than Leda giving birth to eggs as depicted by the various painting copies from the Renaissance.

Sounded like the guy they get to play Goldblum in Family Guy

Yeah, relationships like that are pretty standard for these kind of comic books and cartoons. The thing that bugged me was just that from a biological standpoint, I would assume she would give birth the human way no matter what the father was. Human women just don't develop those kind of eggs.

Byrdie is special
