I'll watch it. I think I can get behind this.
It's not Cavill as Superman just yet, but I see a lot that I really like.
Also, it's just a movie.
Same here. There can be a definitive live action Superman, but it does not mean some other versions cannot be enjoyed. With superhero franchises, its all like Esleworlds, anyway, in that one does not impact the other.
“We’re embracing all of the Superman mythology. He has friends who are other superheroes. He has people he doesn’t get along as well with who are other superheroes. He has a lot of the things that we love from the Superman comics that we haven’t been able to see as much of in filmed media, and definitely haven’t been able to see in a grounded way, which is what I hope we’ve created.” - James Gunn talking about 'SUPERMAN'
I'll never forgive them for the color grading on Superman Returns. The "Look, Up in the Sky" documentary has some clips of finished Returns footage but without the filter and the suit looks so much better.Every Superman live-action production this century, all the way back to Superman Returns, has been afraid of letting the costume pop with bright primary colors, lest people think they were watching a comic book character on screen or something.
His different colored shoulders tells me he's probably Metamorpho?Who is this dude? Someone new or someone from the comics?

Henry Cavill’s hatred for this film will know no ends if Hoult is cast as 007.After this trailer I've got a good feeling about him as James Bond.

I was under the impression Aaron Taylor-Johnson (MCU Quicksilver and Kraven the Hunter) was next in line to play James Bond.Henry Cavill’s hatred for this film will know no ends if Hoult is cast as 007.
Might be hard since Nathan Fillion is still the lead on The Rookie.Yeah, from that 1.5 seconds I can say that Guy needs his own project.![]()
I don't think that was about Superman at all, that was all about the introduction of Krypto and giving him his hero moment. And if anything since everybody knows Superman is supposed to be invulnerable, this could also be a good way to pique people's curiosity about who or what did that to him. And at this point I think we're well past showing a hero get hurt making them a "weakling", just look at characters like Indiana Jones, he was constantly getting the crap beat out of him, and I've never seen anyone call him a weakling. Hell, over the last couple years I've become a big fan of The Rockford Files and the title character in that got the crap beat out of him in almost every episode of the show.Well we know this Superman bleeds. Weird choice to introduce him all beaten up. I don’t want to see Superman as a weakling.
What an odd thing to say. We don’t even know the circumstances yet.
Don’t give up hope. This might fail and WB might resort to some drastic action.I will say that I really enjoyed Man of Steel, and had hoped for a sequel. It has been twelve years since that movie, so I'm okay moving on.
