Exactly. Generally movie trailers, particularly teaser ones work as Rorschach Tests of the viewers. Reactions are based on hopes, dreams, expectations of each individual viewers. Including existing biases for cast, crew, studios, etc. Which lead to a wide variety of reactions to what is usually very little.

It was a Doctor Who reference. Billy Piper’s Rose asked Christopher Eccleston’s Doctor why, if he’s an alien, he sounds northern (north of England), and he replies “lots of planets have a north.” I thought that was what you were initially paraphrasing.
