Every time that Kirk shows up, it becomes harder and harder to reconcile TOS and SNW. I'm glad they have an actor for him to use in alternate timelines and what have you, but I'll be happy if he takes a nice long break from prime appearances.
That's assuming they still go through with S4.
What other OS characters are they going to rope in? McCoy? Sulu?
It's going to reach the point where SNW not only treads on TOS, but also Skydance's baby The Kelvin Films.
I'm actually looking for a post on this board (can't find it now) where someone did a Pocket TOS novel cover mockup of SNW Pike and Kirk with the title "Why are you always on my ship?" I regret not saving it because now I can't find the post. If someone can point me to it, thanks.

Hmm, with filming set to begin in 2025, season 4 should almost certainly air in 2026. I wonder if SNW S4 is doing anything special for the 60th anniversary? I've mentioned this before, but if....... IF they ended the show at 4 seasons, for whatever stupid reasons, they need to end with Kirk...

David Ellison (Executive Producer of the Kelvin Films) is going to be Paramount's next CEO.
I don't think they care so much about the Kelvins. Just another IP to them.
It is just a business, after all.
It’s not like there’s this huge department of Kelvin related folks to even have toes to step on. It’s been eight years or more. Those toes left the building long ago.
