S1 vs. S2 vs. S3 (comparing seasons)

I'm not. Star Wars came up because reasons. I don't like the re-edits of the original trilogy, and I don't like Disney Wars. Am I suppose to just shut up and focus on puppies and rainbows?

One does not need to participate in every conversation or part of conversation. One can move on.

Star Wars does offer an interesting point of comparison to PICARD...

PICARD season 1 : The Last Jedi
Deconstructs a legacy character in a polarizing way that divides the audience, leading to a swift course correction

PICARD season 2: The Rise of Skywalker
An attempt to go back to basics that also faces massive changes to the plot mid-production, resulting in a muddled mess that people who hated what came before at least consider less bad while not particularly pleasing anyone

PICARD season 3: Revenge of the Sith
The first two segments might have been problematic, but it manages to close strong

Honorable mention to PRODIGY, which despite being a TV-Y7 cartoon manages to be the Rogue One of NuTrek

I don't get the SW references, but, and I'd rather chew on broken glass than say NuTrek, but...
PIC S1: Loved the first season, felt like a 10-hour movie.
PIC S2: Like before, 10-part story, loved the characters. Didn't care for spending most of the season on present-day Earth, becoming CSI: Picard.
PIC S3: Loved the Titan-A and TNG reunion, didn't like that S1-2 were mostly ignored, and got tired of the characters spending the entire season on sets and never going outside.

Prodigy: One of the best animated shows I've ever seen.

Because no two films are exactly alike? Nevermind that some of the stuff from Disney is extraordinarily good.
I think we're in a day of sour grapes media. There is so much content to consume that it's easy to dismiss while swaths of media because of one sour experience.

Commercials for Disney movies are brain rot. Occasionally, Disney makes a good film. Most are for the kids or just stupid. National Treasure was good.
You can't write off Disney completely though, occassionally they do bring out something great.
But again.... how do you know if you've never watched? You let a bunch of brain dead youtubers make your decisions for you.
Youtubers sometimes have insights most mainstream pundits don't.

If the trailer is awful, the film is going to be awful. Can you give one example of a film where the trailer sucked but the film was good? Doesn't have to be great, just good.

No one decides for me what I like. Why are you so threatened by YouTube?
