Probably the weakest episode of the season thus far, but I suspect there was a conscious desire to pull back and lighten up for a week given how dark and heavy things have been up to this point. And there were some charming moments, a few laughs, and some decent character bits.
Nice to have Clark back, even if he is (unsurprisingly) somewhat diminished.
I was a little unclear why Jonathan was so threatened by the flamethrowers. They've pretty well established that he's as invulnerable as Clark. Did he just panic due to inexperience?
My God, Sophie shot up like a weed between seasons. I thought she was standing on something at first, but nope.
I might have misheard (the sound on my CW affiliate isn't great), but did Kyle have a throwaway line suggesting Pete Ross is dead?
