News TOMY Star Trek Diecast Ship Replicas

That was a tough one. Not TOO tough.

The 1701-D, although backed off relation-wise, would have seen weird next to my TOS Enterprise.

We already have a "good guy" boat, the 1701 and the inbound 1701 Refit.

Having another "good guy" (Khan at the helm notwithstanding), my vote is for the glorious K7.

Why not? The thing is GORGEOUS. It's MEAN. If it comes to happen, hopefully TOMY will do a slow light effect prior to the K7's firing its main torpedo.

I cancelled my US order and placed a UK order last week. I’d considered keeping my original order as there’s a 6 month extra lead time on UK orders, but I worked out it would be slightly cheaper re-ordering when you add up the original cost plus VAT, delivery fees etc, and I’m assuming I’ll be a bit better protected should something go wrong in transit.

Still gutted about the extra wait though…

I wasn’t aware you could order from America.

Could do it using a forwarding company, so you paid your shipping charge to TOMY and gave the forwarder as your shipping address, then they were going to ship it to me for £100 or more. Then VAT would be another £100, then it instantly becomes more than the £718 TOMY are now selling directly to the UK for.
