I think he went through a quippy Spider-man phase. Or maybe that was his brother "Mike".Both are pretty faithful adaptations. There have been decades of Daredevil comics, he wasn't the same all through-out.

One of the my favorite things about the MCU is that it has such a variety, so we can get things like The Winter Soldier, the Netflix shows, and She-Hulk all coexisting.Damage has most certainly been done in my eyes. The MCU was created by a robot named Kevin and She Hulk met him and rewrote her story. Daredevil was made a joke. The MCU has a Dumpling god in a spoon. They made the universe so cartoonie and silly there is no redemption imo.
Ahhh when the MCU was so good.
Then the dark times
Daredevil just falls out of the sky...

It's almost like different writers have tried out different tones and stories with different characters. Both are pretty faithful adaptations. There have been decades of Daredevil comics, he wasn't the same all through-out.
Yeah I know that is how she is in the comics. That's why I stopped reading the comics they got dumber as time went on. Do you really think general audience, who have never read a comic but got into the movies for the tone set by Iron man, do you think they are gonna stick around for all the silly crap just because it was it the comics? Doubtful. The way Daredevil acts in She-Hulk is how he ACTUALLY acts in the comics, unlike Netflix which took that creatively bankrupt way out.
You do realize that his post was about Daredevil, not She-Hulk, right?Yeah I know that is how she is in the comics. That's why I stopped reading the comics they got dumber as time went on. No.
They're going to watch what they like, and discard what they don't like. They won't keep watching because "MCU" but actually think and make decisions based upon their own interests. Which is why there isn't "damage."
I had no interest in Blade or Vampires, but ended up watching that film as a young man and found it quite compelling because I did like Spider-Man and Blade showed up in the 90s cartoon. So, it intrigued me enough to check it out.
I liked Daredevil but despised Jessica Jones.
So, this whole "one size fits all MCU" nonsense is dumb. Pure and simple. People will watch what they like.
I know, I was shocked too.
Of course not. Why would they? They will not recapture the days of Phase one.
And? That's not damage. That's the nature of culture and economics. People are drawn in to something at a high level, and then there is saturation and then it becomes oversaturated, and things change and then they cycle again.Comics lost their audience and the films eventually will also

That's not damage, unless one wants to live on top of the mountain all the time. Which is unreasonable.

Pretty much all streaming right now and fandoms. Fandoms want to feel like they are in their younger years again and demand that feeling over and over again. Euphoria maintained forever.Just like current trek?..![]()
Ummm, you do realize that the latest MCU movie, which is the movie this very thread is focused on, has almost all of this stuff you are complaining about, and it's the made over a billion dollars, and the most money of any R rated movie ever.I don't agree. Except for Daw. The MCU has had more clunkers the last couple years than actual hits. They will not recapture the days of Phase one. Those times are over. Superhero stuff is extremely oversaturated imo. It's going the way of the comics. Make more, more crossovers and more stupid stuff. Comics lost their audience and the films eventually will also. Sad that they have to do dumb gimmicks like bringing Hugh Jackman and now Robert Downey back and people are drinking it up like it some kind brilliant idea. Alternate universe Tony Stark as Doctor Doom...yippee...![]()
Does anyone think we'll get an uncut version? I think there is a ton of stuff we didn't see but considering this isn't a Fox movie I doubt they'll do it.Coming back to the enjoyment part of this thread...
We still have a long wait until the Assembled episode (if The Marvels is anything to go by, we won't get it until late November) but we can enjoy this fun featurette:
If they didn't do it for Infinity War and Endgame, I highly doubt they'll do it for Deadpool & Wolverine.Does anyone think we'll get an uncut version? I think there is a ton of stuff we didn't see but considering this isn't a Fox movie I doubt they'll do it.
And think of the uncut jokes. If they didn't do it for Infinity War and Endgame, I highly doubt they'll do it for Deadpool & Wolverine.
But I've been wrong before. I would love to be now.
Yeah I know. But I could probably stomach Deadpool more than She Hulk. Since he's touched in the head. She hulk is pure green acres comedy.Ummm, you do realize that the latest MCU movie, which is the movie this very thread is focused on, has almost all of this stuff you are complaining about, and it's the made over a billion dollars, and the most money of any R rated movie ever.
