Spoilers The Acolyte

So, why did Basil sabotage Sol's ship and cause it to crash?
Because, in his obsession with Mae/Osha, Sol was flying recklessly and threatening to get them both killed.

Interesting episode overall. The only real surprise was keeping Mae alive. Interesting inversion, with Mae sacrificing herself, and their sisterhood, so that Osha could become a Sith apprentice.

And that was totally Darth Plagueis, wasn't it? That kind of throws out the old Legends timeline, but still is kind of awesome. Muun Sith Lord for the win.

Was cortosis already canon? I thought not.
It was in some stuff before the Acolyte.

Was she actually the good sister, though?
At the beginning, arguably yes. It was a classic light becoming dark arc that everyone called from the beginning. Like I said, I know I shouldn't criticize because the show did what we predicted it to do. I just wish it did something different.

OK. I'm just not sure that she was ever really LS. She failed out for a reason.

Maybe Sol saved the wrong one.

That was.. predictable.
Sol vs Stranger was good fight.
Wish it ended with the 2 sisters running away together.. charting there own course. Leaving the sith and jedi behind. Maybe to find others of there coven. But no..
How did Mae survive? Oh sat by a tree till a wondering sith came by..
Better than Boba and Andor in the end.

Second season? Ill watch if it comes to be..if not.. owell.

You don't have to take the lightsaber of a Jedi you slew, that's just a Sith tradition. You can bleed any kyber crystal.

Anakin's didn't do it because George didn't come up with the idea. Stay tuned for the special special edition. ;)
How about this:

Anakin wasn’t directing his rage into his own lightsaber. Osha was holding Sol’s lightsaber, so it was a target for her rage.

Alright, maybe I’m just hearing things but there’s a scene about 15 minutes in where Venestra is talking to an unseen man over comms. I don’t know if it is but it sure sounds like Ian McDiarmid.

Palpatine isn't THAT old. :)

Palpatine isn't THAT old. :)

Honestly? Who’s to say how old Palpatine is? After all, the dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. Seriously though, I doubt it was him. Just sounded like him.

I don't think Vernestra is supposed to have fallen at this time.

Haven't got a clue who she's talking to, though.
