What games are you playing currently?

Yesterday I finished Mass Effect: Andromeda, and wow that was a massive game. Tried to do every sidequest, and I think I got 3 months out of it, easily. As a Mass Effect game, I feel it was totally fine, and while I understand the game got criticized for its bugs and animation when it came out, those got fixed long ago, I don't think the game is nearly as bad as the reception would lead anyone to believe. They had improved a lot of things from the 3 games; the probing for instance was made less annoying and the exploration via the nomad was purposeful, as opposed to much of the exploration from the first game.
Yeah I also enjoyed Andromeda. I did play at like a year after release, so all the bugs were fixed by then.

althought I shouldn't do it by playing two RPG games at the same time, but since I've been watching Final Fantasy XV Kingsglaive movie, it got me thinking to play both Final Fantasy XV along with Final Fantasy Type 0 for the heck of it. I last started playing Final Fantasy Type 0 like back in late november-december 2021 but got sidetracked. that and the early part in the game threw you into some weird army vs army scenario when you're trying to reach another town area. figure out how to send your troops against the enemy castle's soldiers to break into the enemy territory. the game doesn't exactly tell you how to do it in an easy way but I'll figure out if I keep practicing at how the things actually works in the game

I'm playing Saints Row 4 mow.

It's goofy and crazier than the 3rd game. People hated it but gosh darn it I love this game.

I have bought baldurs gate 3, installation took almost 4 hours! Only thing to decide is what character I want to be. I am more a talker then a fighter in RPG's and I have read that Bard is a fun character, but very difficult. I have no experience with dungeons and dragons so any advice?

Getting back into Xenoblade 1 for my Switch Lite for tonight a little bit before I go out of town tomorrow for the usual family 4th of July get together.

I still have the final boss to try to beat and some prototype sword sidequests to figure out. that and some level grinding I still have to do where I last left off back in late november-december 2021

I've been playing Super Mario Wonder for about a week now. It's not as good as Odyssey, but it's still a very good game.

in Xenoblade 1, I got the Manado Abyss blade earlier. Menado blades 4 and 5 are a pain due to one of them has you to slide and soar across an ice slide which is impossible to get to the other side.

and busy with doing some Mechon invasion thing which is pretty to deal with.

Menado Abyss sword I like since its supposed to have high attack damage or whatever the game claims the speed is supposed to be that strong yada yada

Next friday I am going to start with the game, but now the big question, "what character should I take?". I have no knowledge and experience with dungeons and dragons, so I am an absolute beginner and have read that you should begin with a fighter. Is that a fun/good class? In rpg games I play normally the character with the most dialogue. I have read that Bard has the best dialogue but is difficult for a beginner.

I feel like I am a little bit over my head so what do you advise?

Have you play another Dungeon & Dragon game? They are similar with some tweak in here and there. So just choose whatever character you want and have fun with it. But if you completely new to Dungeon & Dragon series, then stick to 4 basic characters for any RPG out there. Fighter, Cleric, Rogue, or Mage. With the first the easiest, and the last the hardest. Bard is only a combination of mage and rogue class, but with more support magic.Paladin is in between Fighter & Cleric. Ranger is Rogue and Fighter, but with more range weapon.

For the character you should choose, well, I don't think that it is matter. Baldur's Gate is more of Role Play than games like Diablo. So just enjoy the game with whatever you like, and enjoy the story telling that the game offer. You don't need to make the most effective, the strongest, and the unbeatable character out there. So please, do whatever you like. If you like Bard so much, become a Bard. You can always restart the game and choose he other if you feel that being the Bard is very difficult and annoying.

Thank you for your advise!

I have chosen for Fighter and am about 5 hours in the game. It is a lot like Dragon Age, you are mostly only fighting.
I have Withers in my camp so if I want I can change classes.

What character/class have you played Baldur's Gate?

I'm Rogue. Btw, Priest is strong in Baldur's Gate 3. In Baldur's Gate 1, 2, and Throne of Bhaal, I always choose Paladin. I don't know, but the contradiction between good (Paladin) and evil (Bhaal Spawn) always make me think that my character is epic in role play way.

there a good logical reason as to why Rockstar Games ha to include weird creepy stuff to happen in Red Dead Redemption II such as UFOs, vampire stuff, a weird shack with a Franksenstein corpse made up animal parts and referenes' sort of to Jungle book with the wolves etc?

why included that crap in a western game where you do stuff GTA style anyway?

Because they can.

Where is the UFO in Red Dead?

I just think it's become a motif of theirs since GTA V.

I'm almost at the very end of Saints Row 4, have had a shitty weekend and playing kind of cheered me up.

Even though I'm mostly really busy with my Nintendo Switch games and playing through Alpha Protocol for my Playstation 3, I'm also playing a little bit here and there in Final Fantasy IV Pixel and Castlevania Symphony of the Night of the Requiem Collection.

that and I just got the Red Dead Redemption 2 game for Playstation 4 which I just bought the game from Walmart online just yesterday and the game arrived earlier today so I just might play some of that later this week or weekend

Stellar Blade.
I feel the objective of this game is to unlock the sluttiest costume for your character. Not that I'm complaining. :)
