Which races would you have liked to see more of in Star Trek?

An invisible crewmember, who could be played by a voice actor and a body double wearing green screen material on their head and hands, or any other exposed skin (necks, lower legs, feet, etc).

Alternately, in addition to clothes, they could wear a holoskin that enabled people to see their appearance and be able to look them in the eye, or occasionally, someone else could wear special goggles that made that person visible.

We came close to that with Gray..... I never understood properly how Adira could talk to him and how that all worked but was really happy when he got a proper body.

He was in Adira's head because he was a prior host of the Tal symbiont and they were in a romantic relationship prior to his death.

Oh snap....

I was thinking all kinds of convoluted explanations for Gray like him being in a real non corporeal form before he got his body.

Having said that how was everyone able to see him in the episode with Su'kal?

Pretty much any of the TOS aliens. Ithenites, Zaranites, Kazarites, Aaamazzarites, Arkenites. All the -ites. I mean especially Arkenites, ENT was a good time to explore them.

This. Voyager really didn't do anything great with them and they seemed interesting

Agreed. Aside from the Borg and the Hirogen (though even that one was a bit of a stretch), the Vaadwaur were the only race they could have encountered no matter the distance due to their knowledge of those subspace corridors.

They were a cool looking race and they had an interesting background and had a lot of story left to tell.

I know they were meant to return, but it just didn't happen. Really renders Janeway's 'prediction' of not seeing the last of them pretty moot.

Another one is the race from "Distant Origin" the dino people were really fascinating and I wondered if they survived the burn
