After this episode, I'm a little worried about Spock's affinity for bloodwine.

Yeah, he was looking a little green.
That was great! How can you not like something with the phrase "Spock-bop-a-loo-bop-a-Spock-bam-boom" in it?
FTFYAfter that bar dance scene, I think we now know why the plomeek soup will be thrown.
Being theXEx sucks.
It's not: "I'm the X..."Spock's "I'm the X" was my second favorite but Uhura's solo number was amazing. I'll have that stuck in my head for weeks and hope it's available to stream somewhere. I'd been looking forward to it since hearing it in the teaser.
The Klingon punk rock/boy band was a little too silly and started delving into parody territory but the rest was so good I can forgive. I'm glad this was chalked up to a strange subspace phenomenon and not another alien race trying to communicate through unconventional means.
It's not: "I'm the X..."
It's: "I'm the Ex..." (as in Ex-Lover)
The BuffyTVS musical episode had Bunnies?Speaking of the Buffy musical, loved, loved, LOVED the bunnies lines. Had to be a nod to that episode.
There's no escaping it's one of the most utterly absurd and downright stupid plots I've ever seen on Trek.
The closed captioning used both, but mostly just the X.It's not: "I'm the X..."
It's: "I'm the Ex..." (as in Ex-Lover)
The BuffyTVS musical episode had Bunnies?(yeah, never saw it.)
. The inclusion of Pelia here was a bit weird to me because she contributed nothing to either the plot or really the singing (I wouldn't expect Carol Kane to have a golden singing voice).
.
INotice the tie in to Ad Astra Per Aspera where Spock said Una's secret was a love of Gilbert and Sullivan? And here she is singing it!
