The builder of this project seems very concerned that the crew shouldn't have to queue to use the toilets. In his most recent vid he's discussing the Bridge and wants at least 4 toilets in the service corridor around it.And it was mentioned in the panel quiz on today's episode of "Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me," where the question was about one controversial element of the model garnering criticism from other fans.
There are seriously a thousand toilets in this design? I'm clearly not following this project closely enough. I guess I can see how it could happen. One toilet per person in each cabin would take up about half that, and the other half would be public-style restrooms in centralized areas, and if you're putting five or ten toilets in one room, it would add up.
But that would require some kind of manipulation of gravity... Oh. Right.Not sure why the turbolift cant just go down the front of the dorsal from deck 7. There are no windows on either the front of the dorsal or on the front edge. Nothing says the turbolifts can only move vertically and horizontally. Shooting down the the front of the dorsal at the same angle solves all of the issues.
