Wait, did any graphics confirm a "UEF Enterprise"? Or could it still be "USS", and Kirk was just identifying it in the same breath as most other Captains say "Federation Starship Enterprise"?

"UEF" is on the dedication plaque next to the turbolift when La'an first gets to the bridge. The screens in the Ready Room are only seen out of focus, it's hard to be sure if the letters are S, E, or F.
I still dislike the strange "Tetris Inverted L-Shaped" door.
Why they couldn't make a simple & sensible door that flowed better?
Who knows. Otherwise, I really love the reimagined shuttle.
It's great that it's a single room like the TOS version, with lots of space for work stations, etc. along the sides. TNG versions tend to have separate compartments with subtle divisions between them to give the illusion of depth; here the set is one large space, and the camera lenses and focus techniques make them seem much bigger. The half-step up to the front seats echo the ENT pod set too.

PS - I missed this week's episode, but didn't miss Spock's reversed Starfleet logo on his toque. Perhaps this was an intentional thing to accent how messed up he was, but how..?

They set blueprints for the Shuttle show a room in the rear with a transporter pad, but I guess that was never built.

Imagine how "Hybridized" the UFP must be with their Metric + <Local Region/Planet/Species/Culture Units of Measure>
It's like how Earth has Metric + US Customary Units.
But now imagine how UFP will have Metric + US Customary Units / Other Local Region/Planet/Species/Culture Customary Units of Measure.
2380 AD, the UFP has 154 Members <Source = ST novel: Articles of the Federation>
2399 AD, the UFP has Thousands of “Federation aligned species”
UFP will have peaked at 350 members by 3069 AD
Imagine how much work the UFP Department of Weights & Measures will be sorting everything out with all the existing Species / Cultures along with any historical data from dead species in the past.
It's literally a full time job.

Yes you heard me, Metric is the UFP ISO Standard, but it's also the one that is fought against the most by many folks including Americans in the UFP and other Member Species / Races / Cultures / etc.
TOS used imperial measurements, IIRC. I have a vague recollection of “miles” and “pounds” being used in-dialogue.
Apparently in the Neo Prime-Timeline that SNW takes place, Metric is the dominant units, similar to IRL Metrification that happened since 1960's.
