I don't mean LSD literally....
Point is that sequence was "hey let's take some performance enhancing stuff and beat up a bunch of people without any real strategy". Didn't appreciate it.

Just my opinion here.
I get that, but it wasn't just "beat people up; no strategy." It was "Hey, let's stop a war from happening. A war we both served in and don't want to see again."

I get people don't like and certainly there was other options, but that isn't the point. It was a no win situation that didn't allow for a lot of choices.

LSD is a psychedelic not a steroid. Not sure it would help in a combat situation. Not the best example.
The strategy was to stop the ship and to do that they needed to wade through a bunch of Klingons.

You don’t take prescription drugs? The ones with “side effects may include…” on the label? Even over the counter drugs have those!!!

Good point. I don't use them recreationally. But even the side effects of medicinal drugs are annoying.

My bad, I need to choose my words more carefully in the future. Forget I said LSD!
Off topic, I was prescribed Percoset once, hated it!

On topic now...
I understand that they had to stop the ship, but it would have been nice if they detailed some sort of thought to the strategy to get there. For example, we need to get the bridge, shortest path is here, longer path is here, we may have less resistance in the longer path, but we don't have a choice so we have to take shorter path! Cue in any form of bravado music, trumpet, etc. Take the blue liquid, and boom!

Remember they fought through a whole bunch of Klingons who aren't battle slouches. I was just surprised nobody had any weapons (or minimal weapons). They could have just said "notice nobody has any weapons, that certainly helps our odds".

Maybe I missed the build up....I'll watch it again and see.
