Why are people in such a hurry to pass judgement one way or the other?

It's called humanity. We're not nice. We're ugly pieces of trash.
Now.... I also don't believe in guilty before proven innocent. But when so many people are coming out confirming this behaviour as a pattern....
And yes, I know it's easy to say that it's jumping on the bandwagon because people are saying things.... But for many people, it's a HUGE threshold to come out and speak up about what people have done. Especially when they are popular. But when they see that one person had the guts to do it, they feel empowered and WILL speak up. THAT is also human nature, and thankfully a sign that perhaps we're not ugly trash but actually stronger together.

Trials get things wrong, and are this not a good barometer of ones opinion.

Beat me to it. I was about to raise exactly that point. Far too many examples of that throughout history, especially recent history (i.e. last few decades).

Just like how legality isn't a good barometer on morality.

It's not that I believe he is innocent. It's just that I would rather wait until the trial. Why are people in such a hurry to pass judgement one way or the other?

I mean, people will judge based on presented evidence.

Personally, I would rather wait until the trial and see more evidence but that doesn't mean the verdict will satisfy, simply because lawyers work not just from a facts based, but a legal base to get their clients acquitted of any legal malfeasance.

Marvel really made some errors on casting after Endgame, didn't they? Though on the other hand, for mostly creative/financial reasons at least, they did alright with recasting Banner and Rhodes. So doesn't have to mean the end of anything planned necessarily.

I would never assume that I, a spectator watching from a distance, am remotely as qualified to make that decision as a jury that heard every bit of the evidence. I might have my beliefs, but only fools confuse belief with "knowing."

I'm sure most people have heard about this, but The Wrap reported yesterday that Marvel will not be giving a presentation at Hall H this year. Following on the heels of that news, Variety reported today that Netflix, Sony, HBO, and Universal are also skipping this year's Comic Con.

On a different note, for those who haven't watched The Flash yet, AVOID the io9 article titled "Secret Invasion's Samuel L. Jackson Won't Be Resurrected Via AI" because they very casually, without warning or apology, spoiled one of the big surprise cameos in the film. I hadn't even heard a peep about this potential cameo and I haven't had a chance to see the film yet, so to have it spoiled for me in a Marvel article about a DC film that's been out for only a year has made me very grumpy.

I hate random articles that spoil stuff like that. I already knew about the cameo in question, because I haven't been trying to avoid spoilers for The Flash, but I never would have expected that article to give that particular spoiler if I'd just clicked on it unaware of anything.

It's because of the writers' strike and the probable actors' strike. Apparently DC has enough stuff in the can that they may still go to Comic Con.

I'm just going by what I read either in the Variety article or the io9 article where I first saw it reported.

The Wrap story says Marvel will have a presence at Comic Con, but they're not doing a big Hall H presentation where they talk about all of the big future plans. Stuff that's all on hold because of the strikes.

Marvel has The Marvels, Loki season 2 and probably Echo. No reason to think anything beyond that could be anywhere near a trailer.

DC has Blue Beetle and Aquaman 2. It's really not that big of a difference.

ComicBook.com reports that Disney has released a synopsis for Loki's second season:

Fairly generic but I figured it was worth sharing here. The article notes that while Kang isn't mentioned, Jonathan Majors is still listed as a cast member.

Meanwhile, ComicBookMovie.com reports that Aubrey Plaza talked about her experience working on Coven of Chaos:

'Coven of Chaos' was so fun. I wanted very much to work with Kathryn Hahn, I think she's so great. And without saying anything really, I had a blast. I loved my character in that as well, and I think it's the most elevated Marvel material that's out there. So, it was cool to jump into that world with those people specifically.​

In a new complication to the whole Johnathan Major situation, he has now filed a domestic abuse complaint against the woman who accused him of abuse back in March.
So it looks like this whole thing is turning in a big he said, she said situation.
Given what came out about him after her accusations, it sounds like there's a pretty good chance she's the one telling the truth. Although I guess there's always a chance they both are, and they both got violent with each other.
