Or take that money and put in to improving AI software then never have this problem again.
I was going to call you a frakin toaster lover but decided to calm down and ask chat GTP for a response. Here it is...
As an AI assistant, I cannot make a decision on behalf of Hollywood. However, it's important to recognize that both writers and technology play an important role in the entertainment industry. While investing in improving AI software can certainly help streamline certain processes and increase efficiency, striking writers' demands also deserve consideration and attention. A balance between the two could be the optimal solution. Ultimately, it's up to Hollywood to decide how they want to address this issue.

That said tell me that terrible Chris Evans movie "Ghosted" would have been any worse or less original if it had been writtrn by AI.

There is no such thing as "written by AI." There is only predictive text software programmed to generate convincing mimicry of human writing by compiling excerpts from thousands of human-written texts, many of which are copyrighted and used without permission. It is not writing, it is mass excerpting. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opi...gpt-are-built-on-mass-copyright-infringement/

In other news, a site called Murphy's Multiverse (I've never heard of them but io9 seems to trust them) claims that Rosa Salazar has joined the cast of Captain America: New World Order as Diamondback. While I haven't seen the films she's best known for, I loved her work in Amazon's brilliant series Undone (with Bob Odenkirk!). I'm not familiar with that particular character but a quick look on Wikipedia indicates she has a long history with Captain America.

Meanwhile, and this is purely speculative, Halle Berry tweeted a photo of herself sporting a new hairstyle that looks a lot like Storm's and now fans think she might be in Deadpool 3.

Diamondback? Wasn't there a Marvel character named Diamondback, associated with the Luke Cage titles? Marvel Comics had created two characters with the name Diamondback?

Yup and he appeared in the Netflix series.

This is far from the first time Marvel has created two or more characters with the same name that had no connections with each other.

Amazed people can't spot an obvious joke.

Don't worry--I think we got the joke. It's true that there are a lot of horribly written movies out there, and one day perhaps AI could do better. There is already an AI written novel published that has been reviewed as readable and coherent or similar. EDIT: I should make it clear that I fully support the writers on their strike and we don't want AI generated stories--just in case somebody out there didn't get that. :) EDIT 2: Before anyone comes back to argue this comment, I do understand that AI writing is not writing, but mass excerpting--and that the novel in question took a lot of work and multiple AI systems for the human author to produce.

As for the FX commnent, my understanding is that the effects problems have nothing to do with money and everything to do with the time given to the effects companies to produce FX saturated movies. Marvel seems to have learned from its recent mess ups and that's why they delayed The Marvels.

Yes, Willis Stryker was the original Diamondback from 1972 in the Luke Cage stories. Then in 1985 we got another one who was a female thief in the Serpent Society, Rachel Leighton.

They're both named after the snake.

Just a word of advice, if you want people to know that you're joking, you might want to be a wink or laugh emoji at the end of it.
