you make it out to be the changelings are the main villain and then pull the rug out haha! its the stupid Borg again! I am so tired of the borg ! the borg stopped being good half way through Voyager
I mean, I hate the Borg so much it's completely irrational. But, that's not craping on DS9. In another thread I said that it actually honors the legacy more by saying that the Dominion War had multiple, perhaps unintentional consequences, that are far reaching beyond DS9, Bajor and the Gamma Quadrant.

So, to me, while not explicit, it is rather interesting way to tie these threads together.

That's my viewpoint though.

No i actually like that part that was great. But then the last two episodes just pull the rug out from under all of that like "hey its the borg remember them!, just forget all that set up with the complexity of the dominion war and what happened as a consequence, the borg are back and they are doing the same plot again!" just shove off

Ok. I mean, again, I don't like the Borg, but I loved the world building so I'll take it. I don't see it shitting on DS9, but again I'm not known for the shade casting viewpoint that others have.

I mean, to be fair, it's not the "same Borg." It' just the Mad Queen doing her own shit. She's not even adding tech to people any longer (I'm going to ignore Jack's Locutus setup - how did he even get it on?).

Of course, I loathe the Borg Queen with the fiery heat of 10,000 suns. Completely ruined the whole impersonal horror aspect of them.

should have been an original villain that would have been better, would have given them credit for taking a chance. God now i feel how many doctor who fans felt when they brought back the 10th/14 doctor. I mean i dont dislike TNG but man it get irritating when modern trek seems to know only TNG and TOS exist

I agree that if you're gonna bring back the Changelings, they're such a vital element of DS9 that I don't like making them the supporting villains to the Borg. But that's also not "crapping on DS9" and bringing back the Changelings represents a clear affection and respect for DS9. People can just have creative differences without it being disrespect.

the borg stuff is at least better than the juraborg bullshit of last season which thankfully are ignoring so far and while i lot of you probably ''creamed'' at the D  i just didn't care for it like worf the E was my favorite

She still had a few drones to help with dressing him.

yeah, she kinda worked in first contact but I never liked the concept.

... so what happened to the Enterprise-E?

asking for the rest of us that hasn't yet read every single eBook in the non-canon and/or STO universe.

I liked the look of the Sovereign class, so I am disappointed we don't know the fate of the Enterprise-E.

I hope we get to see that one day... maybe in a tv movie starring Worf, like they are doing with Michelle Yeoh and Section 31.
