What about posing? Has she got a good range of movement?

I do have the Marilyn Monroe Barbie and the one from Flashdance but they are normal barbie size so posing is a bit hard, would have been neat had they had scaled furniture like a chair or sofa to sit on, but as they are they take space.

Poseability is great. Most figures in that category have it, unless the outfit prohibits movement. She does come with a cute little table and chair as well, but i found I preferred her in a standing position.

Yeah I found that with the 3 I have standing saves space over sitting poses, but if I didn't have other junk on the shelf I'd do that.

Good chairs are hard to come by. I waited years for someone, anyone to make the Iron Throne for my Game of Thrones figures before someone finally did. I'm still waiting for Exo6 to get around to shipping out the command chair for the Ent-E as well.

Speaking of The Black Hole I remember a small robot toy you could buy in the 80s that was a copy of Vincent from the movie and the top of his head had a keypad you could program him to move around a course that you define...

One of my favorite toy YT channels is Ed's Retro Geek-Out, and among Ed's ventures is a Toy History series with its own series-within-a-series on unproduced toys. Here's his newest video:

ReAction TNG Elementary Dear Data on holodeck
by Ian McLean, on Flickr

“Elementary, Dear Data”: The new TNG ReAction set from Super 7 arrived yesterday! I happened to have spare time to do two quick matching customs.

I had ordered a spare Jean-Luc Picard, whose hat had to be sawn off, and I elected to have my Moriarty hold his hat. I used a spare TOS Scotty head and some quickset putty.

Pulaski uses up several spare parts I had on hand. The top of a Columbia (“Rocky Horror Picture Show”) whose top hat was already used elsewhere, glued to the long, red dress of Gracie Law (“Big Trouble in Little China”) and a spare TOS Uhura head, plus quickset putty hat and other modifications.

I just got a killer deal on a Marvel Legends comic-con exclusive set from about five years ago or so, at about a third of the price that it typically goes for. Maybe the seller didn't quite realize what it was, as the listing didn't have some of the usual keywords.

I keep complaining about the monotonous sculpts on ML figures, yet I keep buying them. :wtf:

You must love them if you keep buying them

The local GameStop is shutting down, so they're selling off their inventory at massive discount. Managed to get a Marvel Legends Charles Xavier for 8 Euros and the McFarlane Dark Knight Returns Superman vs. Armored Batman 2-pack for 22 Euros.

And I just learned that the local Smyth Toys has the MotU Origins Castle Grayskull down to 35 Euros, so I'm terribly tempted about that.

Meanwhile, here's a nice Toy Venture video on The Shadow toys:
