For those unfamiliar, let me do a short introduction of Godzilla/Toy YouTuber Monster Island Buddies; he started out with the series that gave the channel its name (and he himself, keeping his real identity private and face hidden behind a Godzilla mask and hoodie, goes by the acronym MIB), comedic shorts using mostly Bandai soft vinyl kaijus, but also other action figures, as puppets. Over the 15 years of his channel, he started branching out doing reviews on Godzilla and kaiju toys, films, comics, video games, and other merch, always in his tongue-in-cheek humorous tone.
Well, for the first time, MIB has now done a room tour of his studio/collection room, showing off his impressive collection, and it's not only Godzilla. But, yeah, it's a lot of Godzilla.

I've watched him for years! His comedic narratives employ what Nickelodeon once called "chuck-mation" because the figures used were often just "chucked" to depict motion. I considered it a YouTube era spiritual successor to an early 2000s web-comic called "Twisted Kaiju Theater". That comic used photos of Godzilla figures with word balloons Photoshopped into the frames. Its creator stated he was inspired by the "Twisted Mego Theater" segments printed in "Wizard" magazine. (One could argue that Adult Swim's "Robot Chicken" is the stop-motion spiritual successor to that photographic comic.)
And just two weeks later, another shop tour, as they recently got a massive round of new toys from a trip to the US (they bought so much it was cheaper to buy a Hummer, load it with the toys and ship that Hummer, than it would have been to ship the toys by themselves, which alone is bonkers):

Okay, I'll adress this here, because it just happened again. These threads with masses of embedded videos are regularly crashing my PC, and I need to reboot and quickly click the "Compose Reply" button before it crashes again, just so I can post something myself. Maybe this happens for others, as well? Anyway, I thought about how this could be rectified, I mean buying a new PC is not really the solution here (especially with the RAM shortage). I'm gonna try putting the embedded videos behind spoiler tags, hoping the thread loads without the videos, and then the individual videos can be loaded, well, individually. At least I hope that's how that works. Otherwise, I'm afraid the only other option would be to forego video embedding and only link to the videos.

Seems Todd has discovered right at the end of his Super Powers line that he only ever did one female character, Wonder Woman, so he squeezes five more female characters in the last few releases: Supergirl, Power Girl, Starfire, Raven and Harley Quinn. Better late than never, though I'm still disappointed we won't get any Batgirl, Catwoman, Black Canary, Zatanna, Poison Ivy, Killer Frost, Saturn Girl, Hawkgirl, Talia, Lois Lane, Livewire, or Dreamer. I'm really hoping Mattel continues the Super Powers line once they take over the licence.
