SNW Season 2 debuts June 15th, 2023.

Not a surprise but I did think it would premiere like 2 weeks after Picard. Is the Lower Decks crossover an official episode of SNW or Lower Decks or Both? Are they animating Pike?

Kind of glad to have May off from Star Trek. Big work project around that time.

Another big work project kickstarts right around the S2 premiere date, but at least I'm not dealing with both in conjunction with keeping up with the Trek obsession - just the one. :P

Welcome to the current New Normal. It's not that Paramount isn't producing or premiering new shows; as Grease: The Pink Ladies is premiering in April of 2023.

So yeah, they plan to have new Paramount+ content year round, but they're going to try to have at most one new major series that they can really promote running at a time - and stagger their various popular franchises content over a full calendar year.

People are missing the big part, it's a global premier. Not the 15th for just the US/Canada, but the 15th for everyone (with Paramount+), and every Thursday after

"Season two of the original drama series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will premiere Thursday, June 15 on Paramount+ in the U.S, the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Brazil, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. New episodes of the 10-episode season will be available to stream weekly on Thursdays. "

I never liked when the shows overlapped, even one week. But the month gap after Picard shows us they're trying to stretch things out what with 2 shows ending and no new shows in the pipeline as far as anyone knows.

This story still has Section 31 and Starfleet Academy as "in development", but IDK if we'll ever see either one.

They almost certainly don't know anything we don't. I run a few franchise guides like that at work, myself. No insider information, just journalists rolling off of official sources making all-inclusive lists because they help pay the bills.
