Spoilers How do you want Picard season 3 to end?

Haven't seen it in over 20 years and I still think of it. My sick sense of humour comes from loving shows like that while not even a teen.

Also Suicide Is Painless (both original and Manics) is probably my favourite ever song.
It's a well done episode and every since having kids can't do it.

But the music is incredible. My wife and I do pretty regular rewatches of the whole run, except for the series finale.

A full run watch of M*A*S*H is impressive. My wife and I at the start of the Covid era did a *full* Trek watch..TOS-Voyager..I feel like MASH would be nearly as hard because so many episodes are so weighty

When we do it we usually skip a couple, as well as break it up. Seasons 1-3 are pretty natural delineation, due to cast changes. 4 and 5 are another break, and then 6-11 due to one more casting change. They also go by pretty quickly on DVD or Hulu, since no commercials, it ends up about 22 minutes of content. But, in fairness, my wife started when she was first pregnant and homebound due to a flu impacting our circle of friends, so we know them very well :)

I grew up with MASH, my wife can't stand it, but i'll never not love it

Alway surprises me when I hear of someone who doesn't like MASH. For what it's worth, we have found that watching Hawkeye and Margaret and the growth they go through to be some of the most interesting in a series. Klinger is a close second, but those two have such an interesting growth that it makes the show way more interesting from a character perspective to see how they grow, how they have an attraction, and how they could have been a couple under different circumstances. From a psychological point of view (occupational hazard for me, my wife's favorite hobby for her) it's quite well done over 11 seasons.

I don't want it to end.

We're obviously going to see the D again. It was like the first thing we saw in Picard, and I'm guessing it will also be the last too.

So, here's a toast to the Fat One.

Wouldn't mind a closer look at the NX-refit, if any ship's going to be leading the Frontier Day parade. Although that probably means it's a front and centre symbol to be targeted by the Changelings...

My 50th anniversary viewing--which is watching shows in real time roughly 50 years after the episodes aired--includes having just finished the first season of M*A*S*H. It's a little daunting to know that sticking with the series means I'll be watching it until 2033...

It was on in the background when I was a kid, but I wasn't into it at the time. It was always a Dad show to me.

I wonder if Picard is going to somehow end up in his old body and die again due to his illness, however this time surrounded by his friends and family. His son gets uploaded into the synth body and gets reset to his own image, therefore allowing him to avoid the illness and its side effects.
I'm one of the few who think Picard will die at the end of this season.

But I don't think it'll be that way.

Too soon.

:weep:

The one episode I can never revisit.
I hadn't seen that episode since it originally aired. During my recent rewatch, I forgot what that bit was all about at first. OMG, hits you like a ton of frigging bricks. When Hawkeye explains in the psych ward, most chilling scene ever.

It is incredibly well done. And I can't watch it.
