Could the Changlings be "weaponizing" Irumodic Syndrom somehow in retailiation for the Changling Virus during the war?
Nah, it seems clear that they're suffering some sort of aftereffects from the infection that ended the war. Apparently, not all Changelings were completely cured. They're probably looking for a cure for that. My guess . . . Locutus nanites.

One reason the bodies of both Kirk and Picard might be 'interesting' is because they both crossed over to the Nexus and returned. Kirk also travelled to the Mirror Universe. They're also both time travellers. Apparently crossing between multiverses and hopping timelines does leave an impression on the cells according to Discovery S3.

Verteron's random theory of the week - Irumodic Syndrome is somehow a connected to whatever is wrong with the Changelings, which is why they want Jack, and why they took Picard's remains.

I wonder if the USS New Jersey has the bridge module from the TOS Enterprise. Like in the Crossover novel with the USS Yorktown

The museum being the old spacedock - was definitely a bit too far on the fan service meter for me. Especially as it wasn't fully taken advantage of in the narrative.
In TNG S1 11001001 they have the 1701-D entering a Starbase dock with the EXACT SAME DESIGN as the Space Dock orbiting Earth.

The Earth Space Dock design was never anything unique. It was always a standard Federation Space Dock design.

Not sure what's going on with Vadic at the end? Seems to imply there's different factions within the Changelings, and she's actually a more sympathetic one. Maybe she's playing a long con - trying to trick her masters into thinking she's on their side, but she needs Jack for something else.
Vadic? Oh, she's just trying to find a cure for the Changelings who weren't completely cured of the S31 disease that ended the war.

Someone does reference the old space dock.

It was a bigger variant. Only way the D could get in.

Apart from Starbase 74 must be three times the size of the original Spacedock, given its scaling against the Galaxy-class.

I can see "Founder's Day" being a great opportunity for "Fan Service". Picture this, a magically reconstituted Kirk, Picard, Sisko, and Janeway are shown listening to a holographic Johnathan Archer give a speech...............about a gazelle.

3 straight 10s.

I’m gonna miss this when it’s over. The best Trek we’ve gotten in decades.

The music during the cloaking/rescue sequence was freaking phenomenal. True suspense, something that Trek hasn’t delivered in forever.

Sidenote: You'd think being assimilated would cure any diseases the drone was ailing from. Hard to imagine a Borg with Irumodic Syndrom being an asset to the collective.
But...all Borg DNA modifications were reversed by Dr. Crusher to make Jean-Luc Picard human again (genetic problems and all), and he was only a Borg for what? 6 days total?
