Apparently, she's following the changelings orders.
As to why the changeling is so damn small / tiny.
My presumption is that it's a youngling or teenager.
Not fully grown like Odo was.
And we know the problem with youth / teenagers.

I gave up talking to Jean-Luc haters in general a long time ago. It's no use. I won't convince them that he's a pretty cool guy and THEY certainly won't convince ME that he's the worst guy ever (lol, how about no). It's best to mute/block/whatever and move on.
I comfort myself with the thought of me having a go at anyone in the 24th/25th century who even TRIED to blame Jean-Luc for Wolf 359 - including this Shaw dude now, he's right up my argument alley with his attitude - and Jean-Luc trying to pull me away like "honey please I appreciate your support here but you just almost shoved a Starfleet officer out of an airlock"
Or maybe they're "Sick" with a new type of Genetically Engineered disease thanks to Section 31.
S31 did it once, I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again.
I didn't think the changeling was actually there. If it was, why would she need to report to it? It would have been there the whole time.
Also, we don't know Odo was fully grown. He was actually a pretty mediocre shape-shifter, and he seemed like a pretty surly teenager to me. Good thing Odo had such a crush on Kira, or the Dominion would have won the war! Obviously Rene Auberjonois was an older man, but that really has no bearing on Odo's relative age.

the changeling in the Titan image is very close the red light.
Holy hell, I’d vote for 11 if I could.
This was just so damn good. Episode was an hour long, but it felt more like a 2 hour movie. They really made every second of air time count.
Underrated highlight for me: Matalas using technobabble to show the competency of the crew.
Based on these characters, I’d be down for a Titan series, lol.

I'm wondering, is it possible that Vadic's crew are the creatures from "SCHISMS"?
They certainly sound similar and the two Beverly phasered in the first episode did not react in their destruction the same as when the Changeling was shot.
Her crew also reminded me of the one from Disney's "The Black Hole" ...
