Spoilers The new (massive spoiler) ship!

Nah, something like that, it would be the TNG theme on full blast.

and it will be awesome.

This image by Enethrin on DeviantArt really shows one of the big problems I have with the Odyssey-class design... its stupid fat wedge-shaped saucer. I honestly think it would look much better with a more classically shaped saucer as with this redesign.

Those big banana nacelles, though, are beyond help :nyah:
In that photo it looks like its an incect is birthing a baby ship.
Generally I don't mind the basic shape but I find all the STO stuff to be too busy. Too many different shades on the hull and weird jots.

Yes, and like all ships in STO, you can kitbash them with the others in their type.

Thanks for adding this.
In 2022, STO expanded on this lineup by adding the Lexington class. It's a Yorktown class with added Galaxy-X-style spinal lance on the ventral saucer, and a Sutherland-class mission pod atop the secondary hull. The Terran Empire versions have red hull markings.

In 2409, the ISS Enterprise-F is an Odyssey-class ship like the USS Enterprise-F. In 2411, the ISS Enterprise-F is Lexington class, the USS E-F is a Yorktown.

Probably because it allows them to canonise a design that although originated in a game has featured in various official/licenced merchandise over the years, but also provides a clean slate so they aren’t beholden to using it for any potential future 25th century show.

So according to this new Star Trek Logs Instagram post, the Enterprise-F launched in 2386 and she's "scheduled for decommissioning... the Enterprise-F's final flight will be... during this year's Frontier Day."

So those clips of the Enterprise-F are of her being DECOMMISSIONED!? Why the hell even use the F then!? Reason #47 why they should have just stuck with the E!
To reflect the passage of time while paying service (fan service) to the Enterprise's history. Using the E would have led to the questions of why wasn't Picard and crew onboard her this whole time? So, they bypass it, retire the E and then retire the F. Leaves room for any other stories they want to tell and acknowledge the passage of time.

Of the things potentially annoying about Season 3 this falls towards the bottom of the list.
