I just got the Platinum trophy and 100% on God of War: Ragnarok. I'm really interested to see where the story goes from here :)

Tomorrow I'm going to get a Game Pass card and start High on Life (after the install, of course ;) )

Lode Runner: Legacy (PS4) on the Playstation 5.

Pretty tough puzzler based on the 80's computer game. A steal for the six bucks I paid for it on the Playstation Store. Also available on the Nintendo Switch and Steam.

I started playing Witcher 3 on my PS5 about a week ago and I'm really enjoying it.

Is it the first time you play it?

I actually played it about five years ago on my PS4. I didn't get that far though... maybe 10-15 hours in. I remember doing all the Bloody Baron quests. And I also got to Novigrad and did some of Triss' quests. But then I just sort of lost interest for some reason.

Gotham Knights. It's pretty meh. Reviews are spot on.

I bought a ton of games recently through my house insurance but haven't had much chance to play. I've completed 5 all year, compared to 18 last year and 15 the year before.

Next is Ragnarok, if I ever finish Knights.

Finished Ragnarok a couple of weeks back.

Great game. Amazing graphics, score, characters, world building, side quests, combat, and so on. But ... while I loved the overall experience, I was a little let down by Ragnarok itself. It was all done and dusted quickly and tied up in a neat bow a tad too conveniently. I was under the impression this was going to be the definitive end of the Norse saga, but the end appears fairly wide open. Yeah, just felt a little deflated once the credits rolled.

Also Witcher 3. Been waiting two years for this update for my first playthrough. As for my partner, it's her third playthrough and she's just as hooked as the first two times. I'm several hours in but I think I'm finally starting to see what the fuss is all about. I like the game's sense of humor and darker side. t's a little buggy on the PS5; thankfully much more playable than the PC version. A pity the ray tracing mode is struggling to hit 30FPS. Happy to stick with performance - still looks gorgeous.

The weather systems and day and night cycles in the next-gen version are a real stand-out.

I'm taking my time and still doing the Bloody Baron quests - I think I'm almost done. Really enjoying it. There's so much to do, but all the side stuff feels substantial; they always put effort into the stories and characterizations, even if they're minor / one-off characters.

And Gwent. I've finally got a few wins under my belt. My partner is a Gwent pro so helped me out. Haven't played it much but it's easily the most fun (and possibly addictive) game-within-a-game I've played.

I've been playing quite a lot... I've done most of the side quests in Velen and Skellige. Now I'm back in Novigrad.

As for Gwent, I absolutely love it. I have so much fun playing it.

I just bought some strategy games in the Steam Sale based on recommendations on Youtube, one of them is a hardcore alternate WW3 RTS game called Wargame: Red Dragon and holy cow - that things is complex. Apart from main combatants like the NATO and Warsaw Pact there's tons of smaller nations you can play too, each with a ton of units that all armies have from basic trucks and foot soldiers ( who have multiple weapon loadouts and therefore multiple uses) up to air and sea forces.

It looks very complex but possibly interesting for hardcore strategy gaming.

I certainly won't be able to wrap my head around that complexity in the evening after work, might have to take a vacation

The only game that I'm playing at the moment is Arma III.

I'm getting a bit jaded with gaming to be honest, for me there's not very much interesting on the horizon. Microprose's 'Tiny Football' looks fun in a nostalgic kind of way, think I'll need to buy a new controller to play that though.

I only have five games on my Steam wishlist right now. Espiocracy, Terra Invicta, STONKS-9800: Stock Market Simulator, Tiny Football and Victoria 3.

Seriously holding fire on Victoria 3, seems like it's got a lot of problems that need ironing out.

I enjoyed playing Suzerain and although they're very different games I'm hoping that Espiocracy has a similar feel somehow, Espiocracy and Terra Invicta look promising.

PlayStation Wrap-Up is telling me my first trophy was Infamous in June 2009 and my latest was Cannibal Cuisine in November 2022.

    Haven't played anything since.

I played some Gwe- , er, I mean Witcher 3 last night also.

Seriously, the past few days have just been finding players and new cards across Valen. I'm sure there's some main story to do with my adopted daughter I should concern myself with at some stage. ;)

70+ hours in. Barely explored Novigrad - haven't even gone to Skellige yet. It's my first playthrough so really want to soak it all in. Pretty special game.

I tried to start a new playthrough of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate this morning, but all I could do is pick up where I left off when I played it before. I even tried deleting the whole game off my system, and even that didn't appear to work. Is there a way to start over?

If there's not a New Game option, you could always go into system settings, memory and delete the save data.

Oh, I assumed deleting the game would delete all of that too. I didn't realize the PS4 had a separate place for save data.
